Great tasting, lots of varieties by fluxgirl ,Apr 10 '05
Pros: Delicious varieties, perfect serving size Cons: more expensive
I did not have my 8 month old son try this baby food until just recently, the higher cost of the jars prevented me from buying it. My sister recommended trying it, her 10 month old loves every selection, and after going to the store I noticed all the delicious varieties. It has been a challenge to get my son to eat a whole jar of 2nd foods in the past, but those days are long since over after introducing these new foods. Plus I feel good about giving him food that I know has had no additional salt or sugar added.
Worth the $Price$ & Peace of mind by sararand ,Dec 15 '05
Pros: vast array of food choices Cons: price - as low as $.35 (on sale/coupon- YEAH) and as high as $.79.
Not only is it totally organic with only natural ingredients, but also tasty and conscientious of baby's immature digestive system. Unlike other organic products I researched online, Gerber makes stage 1, 2, 3 foods based upon what is safe and easy for a baby to digest based upon their age and level of development. I have seen other stage 1 foods with MEAT- and infants do not have the digestive sophistication for this food...say hello to constipation and diarrhea I whole-heartedly recommend this product, and it takes the guess work out when asking, "What foods should I introduce? I wonder if this food is too early to introduce?"
