Pros: Remarkable tire for poor weather driving conditions and when it's not. Cons: Goodyear needs to offer more sizes. This could be the perfect tire for SUVs.
We've had the tires on our 2001 Subaru Outback LLBean Wagon (all wheel drive) for about a month now. We've experienced warm weather in the 70's, heavy rain, and the snow and ice that hit the middle part of the country before Christmas. The ...

Pros: Good stability, great look! Cons: Cost is a little higher than some. Rougher, louder ride.
I purchased these tires about 1.5 week ago so my first impression is what will be offered here. I will update as time passes. What I can say with certainty is that so far I am happy with my purchase. I have done quite a bit of driving since ...

Pros: American made. Quiet. Smooth. Good grip. Rim protection. Cons: Not cheap--but good stuff rarely is.
The Michellin Rainforce tires that I had on my Volvo were about dead, so I replaced them with the new Goodyear Assurance TripleTred tire, because they were highly rated by the members of TireRack.com, and also highly recommended by my favorite tire ...

Pros: Excellent snow and rain traction, quiet and smooth. Cons: Price and no history on tire life and all the stuff they kick up.
I replaced a set of Goodyear GA's with these on my 1998 Intrepid. I thought the GA's were good in the foul weather and I was running them at 45 psi for help in the wet, it really does help, but the ride is stiff. My wife didn't trust the GA's in the ...

Pros: Nice ride, great wet braking. Cons: price which isn't too bad and definitely worth it.
I bought these for my 89 Nissan 240SX which is rear wheel drive. Upgraded from Goodrich Touring T/A's. Size 205/60-15. Before I switched, I was slidin in the rain without pushing the car hard. Easing on the acceleration at many stoplights, the rear ...

Pros: -Amazing Traction
-Quiet over smooth surfaces
-Amazing Handling Cons: -Noisy at high speeds
-Rough over bumps
-Cost
I purchase a set of Goodyear TripleTreds to replace my 2004 Chevy Venture's OEM Firestone FR680s, the traction of which I was not happy with. I have to say that I was extremely impressed with the traction of the TripleTreds. Their grip on dry ...

Pros: Good overall value, good handling, great wet traction. Cons: NOISE! NOISE! NOISE!
I have been riding on the wings of Goodyear now for 90,000 + miles and have mixed reviews. I work in the tire industry and went against my better judgement and tried out the TripleTreds. Here are the particulars: * The tire size is P215/60R16 ...

Pros: Good price, true all-season capacity, easy national brand obtainable anywhere. Cons: I haven't encountered any yet.
I used to work as an Assistant Manager at Discount Tire Co and so I know tires better than the average consumer. When it came time for me to get a new set of shoes for my wife's Mitsubishi Outlander, I decided to do my homework. We plan on keeping the ...

Pros: quiet ride and great traction Cons: vibrations and defective tires.
I purchased these tires new 1 1/2 years ago. After 15,000 miles, I got a bad vibration. The mechanic stated one tire he could not make balanced, and Goodyear replaced it. Now, after a long trip and 35,000 miles on the van I have a severe ...

Pros: Price. Cons: Poor handling in the rain and fast, uneven tread-wear.
I purchased Goodyear Assurance TripleTred tires for my Subaru Forester in January 2008 and have been very disappointed in their performance. Based on consumer ratings I expected to experience good handling in rain, but these tires ...

Pros: most epinion folk like these Cons: SurroundSounds like those of elementary school playground pnuematic balls...'po-ing'...'boinggg'...
What more can be said for having a tire shop across the street from where I had stopped to change a flat? I knew I needed more 'in-the-wet' stability than could be had in the Coopers that shod my '01 Accord, so $-ing was the secondary issue. I ...

Pros: Great wet weather performance, great tread wear, a reasonable price. Cons: Over time, they become much too noisy. You will learn to hate them.
I purchased a set of four Aquatred 3 tires after some research. I was looking for a speed rated tire available in the right size for my '99 Ford Contour Sport. I have found in general that it is not easy to find a practical tire with good wet weather ...

Pros: Attractive, Good on wet roads. Nothing else pos. Cons: SCAREY BAD IN SNOW. Un-stable!!
Reading all 5 star reviews Ive come to realize most of these reviewers ar running home from their tire store and writing a pos. review. This results in an overall false rating of these tires. Wish I knew this before I used this forum as a source of info ...

Think Twice
by wojihowski ,Aug 06 '09
Pros: Road noise and handling are great. Price was $491.00 out the door. Cons: Goodyear saying I should get 80,000 miles wear. I now know that won't happen!
Goodyear Assurance Triple Tread wear is questionable. I have 35,000 miles on mine and only 6/32nds left on the tread. Road noise and handling are great but if they don't last long they aren't worth the price!

Simply The Best !
by rmaida ,Jan 07 '09
Pros: The tire is good in the rain and very good in snow. Cons: I do hear a little more road noise....but that's a small price to pay.
I live in CT and drive an 03 Hyundai Elantra. I was looking for a tire that could handle the snow and get me up and down my long sloped driveway without having to sand. This tire has done it! I can now come home from work with snow on the driveway and drive to the top with no problem. With any other all season tire I would have to park at the bottom, snow plow and sand, then take the car up the driveway.
I have had the tries 3 months so don't know how they will wear.
