Pros: Compact, plenty of storage for college dorm rooms, makes a good meat locker
Cons: Thaws/Freezes, Leaks water, waste of money

I had originally bought this mini-fridge for my dorm room in order to keep perishable food items cold. It cooled down the food that I first put in it very quickly and I let it refrigerate overnight, but the next morning everything was frozen! I had the thermostat set on 3, and through tinkering with the settings, I have determined that off-3 will thaw food and 4-7 will freeze it!

I also had some moisture in the fridge that had accumulated and I didn't notice it right away, since it was ice at the time, but when I turned the thermostat down, it melted and leaked through the door!

Aside from these problems, the refrigerator is relatively quiet and well laid out for a 1.8 cu-ft model. It fits under any desk or bed and I was able to cram plenty of food and bottles in it and was still able to shut the door.

I regret that I decided at the time of purchase to be cheap and pinch 10 dollars so that I could pick this one up on sale and not go for a more solidly built and efficient fridge. That was my biggest mistake.

Pros: Manual is worthless but it's a refrigerator! :)

Works like a charm. Keeps my pop COLD like I like it!
Use setting 3, anything higher and it freezes everything.

Pros: Maintains perfect refrigerator temperature (35-38 degrees Fahrenheit). Very quiet and a great, compact design.
Cons: Freezer does not reach the recommended temperature of 32 degrees - not even close!

This Haier 1.8 cu ft compact refrigerator has an attractive design and is identical to other Haier model numbers. It is white with tan trim and has a rack that holds two-liter bottles in the door, as well as a freezer compartment.
