Pros: Classic chrome look, Easy slide-out crumb trays, Extra wide slots, Fairly priced. Cons: Actually haven't found any yet.
We ended up with the Hamilton Beach Classic Chrome 4 Slice Extra-Wide-Slot Toaster after our old four slice toaster morphed itself into a two slicer. Half of the elements quit working rendering it nearly useless in our home, ...

Pros: Many different options, practical design and nice looking. Cons: It doesn't toast evenly and seems to take longer than usual to do it.

4 Slice Toaster with half the "bang"
by lilchef ,Sep 26 '09
Pros: Love the Style ,and ease to clean especially with the removable Crumbtrays. Great for Bagels. Cons: Too expensive for the uses I got out of it.
We mostly use the Toaster on weekends, and have the need for more than 2 Slices of whatever is eaten at a time. That does not add to very many times used since purchased just about 5 Months ago. Paid $50 which was already higher than some other Brand Name Toasters, but I liked the classic look and the functions it offered. This one replaced a Toaster I used for over 6 Years.
Cannot use one side anymore after less than 6 Months of use. Will not stay down to be able to toast. Also not good for English Muffins, they like to get "lost" in it and it needs to be unplugged to be able to get those out of the Toaster.
Would not buy again.
