I received this wok as a gift and used it for only a few months - carefully, with a wooden spatula only - before the nonstick coating started chipping off into the food. Do yourself a favor and buy a traditional wok WITHOUT the nonstick coating, then take the time to season it properly. Proper seasoning will prevent food from sticking and you won't be putting tiny bits of mysterious black synthetics into your family's dinner.
