Pros: Easy to Clean, Attractive, Quite, and Makes a Great Cup of Coffee. Cons: Grinder Mechanism Stopped Working After 3 Months of Normal Use
After owning five Cuisinart Grind and Brew Coffee maker (3 different models) that for one reason or another ceased to operate, I decided on choosing a different brand. There were no reviews online for the Krups KM7000 Grind and Brew, so I crossed my ...

Pros: Easy and fast. Makes great coffee. Cons: Looks like a batch plant. (onsite cement maker for const site) So what. It's great.
Bought for a gift for picky hubby's birthday. Set it up the night before as a surprise. It was a little difficult to figure out at first (but it was midnight - in my pj's - half asleep) But it worked great right from the start. ...

Expensive piece of crap
by ceceily ,May 05 '09
Pros: Looks pretty. Cons: Messy, Doesn't brew anymore, Clock is not 12-hour based, No support offered by Krups, Expensive,
Grind and brew coffee makers in general don't seem to last as long as a regular coffee maker, but I love having fresh coffee and the aroma is awesome. This one I only had for a year and it stopped brewing. It will grind but won't brew. Some other things that I didn't like were that it made a mess and it only shows military time.
For $179, it should have been more sound and lasted a hell of a lot longer. Krups does not have any support and act like you are the first one to complain about it when I know they have had to have other complaints about the same thing because I've seen many of them online.
Rather then sending my coffee maker back and waiting 6 weeks for a new one, I opted to buy a new one. (Now trying the Cuisinart DGB-900BC model) I hope I have better luck with this one, it is my 4th grind and brew coffee maker in the last 6 years. If this one breaks, I think I will be done with grind and brew coffee makers all together.

Krups junk from china,,,dont buy
by tenacyankee ,Mar 19 '09
Pros: Looks cool Cons: JUNK
I always thought Krups made quality appliances ..WELL HERES MY STORY: I had purchased a KM7000 from the krups online store for my wifes birthday in september 2008 .I gave it to her october 9th 2008 for her birthday. My wife only drinks coffee, Thats why I paid $200.00 for a coffeemaker. On December 25th (oh yeah,,Christmas) the machine stopped working. I was instructed at my expense to send the coffee maker to Downers grove,IL. 5 weeks later we got it back. Today the illustrious KM7000 stopped working again. I cant even get a live person to talk to me.Just a message telling me where to ship it. Its not just the fact that it doesnt work, but now at my expense I have to ship it and wait for nobody knows how long for it to come back. I cant say enough how disgusted I am with this machine.I bought Krups because our other Krups was getting a little old (4 years now). I expected the NEW machine to work at least that long. My question is: Does anyone care about the quality of customer care anymore. John
