This fan generates allot of air and is very quiet. I also takes up very little space. I like the look of it as well. It contrasts nicely with the electronics in the living room.

I've alway like Lasko fans, there great. The Wind Elite brings a breeze of cold air where ever you have it. This fan is great for sleeping at night, it has a quiet operation so you can barely hear it.

Pros: Quiet, remote, timer, sleep function, size, attractive, price.
Cons: I haven't come across any and i've had it almost a year

I really like this fan. I bought it last summer, and fell in love with it immediately. I have had no issues with it. It works great. The remote comes in especially handy at night if you have it in your room, and don’t want to get out of bed to adjust the speed, or where it is blowing. The timer is another great feature. You can turn the fan down at night while you sleep, then have it set up to start blowing harder as the temperature rises. You can also set it to turn off completely for a short time, like while you sleep, and have it turn on a few hours later.
Another great feature is that its rather small, and easy to hide, but is also fairly attractive so your not totally ashamed of it if you do have it sitting out in plain site.

I bought this fan and initially loved it.  However as time progressed it continually had to be cleaned and collected so much dust.  The motor began making strange noises and after 8 months it no longer worked.  I contacted Lasko and was told without the receipt I'm plain out of luck.  Who keeps a fan receipt for 8 months?  Anyway it was a waste of money.  Don't buy this fan.

Pros: Fan is just OK but I believe there are better ones on the market
Cons: Base screws will not stay attached

The base attachment with the 4 screws is horrible.  These screws will not stay attached!  If I had known that I would not have bought this fan.
Thought about sending it back.
