Pros: The funnel makes bagging lawn clippings, twigs, small branches and leaves quick and easy
Cons: You need large trash bags and for sticks and twigs, the heavy duty ones.

The person that invented this deserves a medal. It made bagging leaves after Hurricanes Charley and Frances almost bearable.We used heavy trash bags and stuffed in twigs and leaves easily and quickly.

After learning a few trick in its use, I've found the Lawn Funnel to work great. Since I'm picking most heavy oak leaves and pine straw I found using the 55gal (drum size,Sam's Club), works the best. The larger bag gives you more overage to tie off the bags, plus it's a heaver mil. To save my back, I use my pick fork and a long handle, wide mouth shovel. After Hurricane Ivan, the lawn funnel was great to handle trimmed tree limbs and other items. When I'm not using the funnel for lawn purposes, I use it as a trash can for outdoor parties. Easy disposal of party trash.

Cons: Hard to find. Some reviewers obviously don't know how to use it.

Just try to do grass clippings or leaves without this product and you will find that the paper type bags just collapse or fall over. This product will stand up the bags, allow you to stuff the bags full, and gives a wide 'margin of error' for leaf and grass clipping dumping. Everyone in the hood is jealous of ours!

Cons: Cannot fold flat for storage.  Cannot lay on the ground to rake into. Somewhat expensive.

I tried the Lawn Funnel a couple years ago and have been frustrated with finding a good place in my garage to store it.  I recently found a product that I believe has better features called Lawn Bag Buddy.  You can buy it online at their website or in select retail stores.  When I looked at their "where to find" tab the retail stores all appear to be in the midwest.  I ordered one (which came within a few days via FedEx) and I was surprised to see how sturdy it is.  It held up to stuffing branches into the bag and prevented trears.  It has a nice design that comes over the top of the bag that allowed me to dump my mower bag into the paper lawn bag with no spills.  I was also able to lay it on the ground and rake into the bag. 

There were three things I like about Lawn Bag Buddy verses the Lawn Funnel; First it is a lot less money, second, it folds flat for storage and third, you can lay it on the ground and rake leaves into your bag.
