One Word: Wow!

by YankeeJ23 , Feb 01 '02
Pros: Range, Precision, No Ball to clean, and No Wires!
Cons: Only right-handed, Bulky Structure (for some), short battery-life, Price
The days of wires are over! Well, almost. Logitech has provided consumers with an ideal, top-of-the-line mouse, that once going to, most would never go back.

I used to be one of those people that could care less about what kind of mouse I...

Logitech MouseMan Wheel Optical: This mouse means business.

by tortillaboy , Oct 18 '01
Pros: Three fully programmable buttons and a wheel, optical
Cons: May be too heavy for some people. Not for lefties.
It's a bit confusing, how Logitech names their mice. They have the MouseMan Wheel, the MouseMan Optical and the MouseMan Wheel Optical, each have similar features but remain different. While this review has been placed in under the "Logitech MouseMan...

The Mouse with No Tail

by pteal , Sep 30 '01
Pros: Cordless, Optical, Logitech Quality
Cons: Questionable Styling
I have been waiting for a mouse like this to come out for some time now. I have a large desk, and mouse cords never seemed to be long enough, always getting tangled up. When the cordless mice became popular several years ago I bought one and loved it....

Excellent product, better than the expensive microsoft products

by suemccartin Epinions Most Popular Authors - Top 500, Jun 25 '02
Pros: Dual lasers for extremely accurate tracking
Cons: Really only fit for rightys, I don't think a lefty will like it.
I've had logitech USB connected mice in the past. For whatever reason, I've always seemed to have some sort of problems with them on my non-intel chipset motherboards (for AMD cpus). I briefly owned one of these same mice in the recent past and it was...

Powermouse

by jstlawrence , Jan 20 '02
Pros: Good-looking, comfortable, accurate. Can be used as a DVD remote. Sort of.
Cons: Expensive, short battery life.
I murdered my mouse. After about a year of websurfing, e-mailing, and video games, my two-button Microsoft wheel mouse was ticking me off. Even after careful, repeated cleanings with an alcohol swab, the little switches inside had gummed up to the point...

Do mice eat this much?

by meribona , Feb 18 '05
Pros: Good shape, wheel, cordlessness, good tracking
Cons: Battery life, occasional reception problems
I've had my Logitech MouseMan Dual Optical Mouse for about a year and use it everyday at home. I went with the MouseMan because they come standard with every computer at work. Pros: -Contours: Like other Logitech mice I've tried, the MouseMan ...

Superb – if it fits your fingers.

by petertr , Feb 07 '02
Pros: Two “2nd generation” sensors, very accurate & smooth, reasonably priced, works on USB or PS/2.
Cons: Small buttons may be awkward, USB Mouseware can conflict with USB pen tablet mouse.
I hated the ball mouse that came with my new PC (ball rollers needed unclogging daily) and the mouse that came with my 8x6 graphics tablet (Christmas present) was small and jumpy, so the time came to look around for something better.

Having...

The Mouse I've Been Waiting For..

by brxndxn , Nov 05 '01
Pros: Optical and cordless!, Durable, good thumb button, nice software, looks cool
Cons: Short battery life, weird feel, only for right-handed people
I upgraded to the Logitech Cordless Mouseman Optical from my old Logitech Cordless Mouse. I never upgraded to the optical mice because the cordless feature of my mouse was more important to me. When playing games or browsing the web, the cord always...

A Great Mouse For Everyone

by bobtheguardian , Dec 29 '01
Pros: Very Accurate, Comfortable, Looks Good, Not a Microsoft Product
Cons: Expensive, Right Handed Only, Some may dislike the wheel
I received the Logitech MouseMan Dual Optical as a Christmas present, and I have been using it without problems non-stop since then.

The mouse looks sleek and rounded and is the perfect shape to place in the palm of your hand. On either side...

Detailed Features and Review !

by dougmjones Epinions Most Popular Authors - Top 1000, Jan 04 '02
Pros: cordless, feels nice, Apple and PC, great quality, extra buttons.
Cons: Red Leds flash all time, jams other logitech cordless devices in same room.
This mouse not only solved my mouse problems on my Apple G4 system but it also is the only mouse that matches in color and looks good with my high end system. It works also on my PCs and I have tested it on both. OSX even recongnizes it but Logitech is...

One step forward, and another step back.

by therealmach5 , Dec 28 '01
Pros: Extremely precise tracking, more accurate than most ball mice. 4 buttons.
Cons: left and right buttons are too small. Isn't as comfortable as previous "Mouseman" mice.
In Logitech's long history of putting out mice, the "Mouseman" designation always was attached to the mice with the most robust featuresets, sturdiness, and highest level of ergonomics.

When the Mouseman+ 4-button mouse debuted 3 years ago, I...

The Porsche of Mice!

by da_anarchist , Nov 26 '01
Pros: The "Cool Factor" / Well-designed
Cons: Battery Life! / Not as precise as corded mice
Sometimes, you just do not want to settle for the run-of-the-mill. Sure, a 99c Whopper from Burger King will fill you up, but that’s just all too plain vanilla. The Cordless MouseMan Optical (hereby rerfered to as the CMO to save my poor wrists) is...

This is a 1/3 lb rat, not a mouse!

by plilikoi Epinions Most Popular Authors - Top 1000, Aug 11 '01
Pros: The cordless and optical features work very well.
Cons: Unless you have a *huge* hand this won't work for you.
This must be the biggest mouse to hit the desktop since Doug Engelbart's prototype, http://www.usnews.com/usnews/issue/20mous.htm. It's so big, in fact, that I say we call it a rat.

The good news is that the cordless feature works really...
