This is an excellent product! I have tried all of the diffrent formulas and like them all. As a Licensed hairdresser I even recommend them to my clients. They are much less expensive than the "professional products" available in the salons and are just as good if not better. I would strongly recommend giving them a try.

I have been using L'Oreal ColorVive shampoo for over 8 years. It has always been the best shampoo. Not only for a reasonable price, but for a great product. Recently, they have a new bottle and a new line of shampoos called VIVE PRO. I don't know what they did to the product, but it is terrible now. All of my friends have bought it hate it. I recently had to throw out half of a bottle. If it was for a marketing situation to promote more sales, then they could have used the same formula from before and put it in the new bottle. This is really bad. Now I have to find a new shampoo for Color Treated Hair. Ironically, in 1999 it was voted the Best Shampoo for Color Treated hair. Why they changed it, I will never know.

This would have to be one of the best shampoo's for color treated hair that I have used it a while. I cut out a coupon to give it a try and now I would not use anything else on my color treated hair. This shampoo leaves my hair non-greasy and easy to manage. Color Vive has enhanced my color so that it really has lasted me longer than normal. There's really nothing I hate about this product it's just great on color treated hair. I love this shampoo not only because I can afford it but it smells great. Thanks for your time.

I have bought the Color Vive shampoo and conditioner product since at least late 1990 and have loved it until they changed the formula and fragrance. I liked the old packaging and could deal with the change in that. The new formula is OK, but I liked the older one (before the recent change) better and I liked the fragrance a LOT better the way it used to be rather than the way it is now.

In addition, there used to be a color protecting hairspray, color care masque, and 3 minute treatment that still have on hand but can no longer find. I loved all of these products and they do wonders for my hair and with keeping my temporary color longer.

I miss the old formula/fragrance - bring it back!
