Pros: Cheap, reliable, and distortion free. Cons: Ear muffs don't cover the ear tightly allowing outside noise in.
To me, there's only one reason to own a pair of bulky headphones that completely cover the ears --- to filter out the sounds of the surrounding environment. So that's why a buddy bought me a pair of ear muff headphones as a gift several years ago. I ...

Pros: very comfortable fit, great sound clarity Cons: somewhat bulky
I received these headphones for my birthdat back in February and have logged probably 50 hours of music in them so far. the HP170s are the most comfortable and clear sounding headphones I have owned before. The only real downside to these phones is that...
Pros: Cheap, 10 feet long cable, great sound, looks good. Cons: independent volume controls.
I haven't come across any headphones that are this good and cost under $20. It sounds great, with clear highs and lows. The cable is 10 feet long giving ample room to move around. It includes the 1/4" adapter to use with mini-shelf systems, keyboards,...
Pros: Great bass
Clear mids and highs
Comfortable
Price Cons: None!
Bought these headphones at Target to replace a pair of Sony full-sized headphones I had for a couple of years that I broke a couple of months back. These I wish I had in the first place.. great bass response and clarity in the mids and highs (although the highs can be a bit too bright at times.. just adjust levels accordingly). Only complaint (and this is just my personal liking) is that the cable is only one side.. and not the Y cable which i am used to.. but it seems to be the new standard to have the cord only on one side.

Pros: Long cord, stereo/mono switch, fairly comfortable Cons: Not a snug fit, sound is so-so
I purchased these based on the other opinions here. Great sound at around 20 bucks sounds nice. I'm kind of disappointed in them though, so I'm taking them back.
If the bass is turned up slightly and the treble is turned up quite a bit, they sound pretty nice. Listening to them flat though, they sound muddy to me. The highs aren't as crisp as I would like and the mid-lows are overwhelming.
They have a 9.8 foot cord that I like quite a bit.
They are light and comfortable, but they don't have a snug fit and there are gaps between the phones and my head which may account for some lacking sound.
