Pros: Long lasting (but not 16 hours), very nice appearance, nice packaging Cons: Drying, need to reapply gloss, pricey, gloss wears off, metallic shine
I’m not much of a lipstick person and tend to stick to lip glosses and sheer/shiny products. Once in a while I find a shade I really like, but I don’t have a lot of luck with lipsticks. When I saw Maybelline superstay lipcolor, I wanted to try ...
Pros: Can be found at your local Walgreens Cons: Can make you look like a mortician gave you a makeover
I purchased Maybellines Superstay Lipcolor in Sand (#705) about a month ago just before an impromptu board meeting. I have to say, I selected the weirdest make-up Walgreens sells. First, there was the ...
Pros: Smooth wear, cheap, good topcoat, feels great on. Love it! Cons: Check samples, reapply topcoat often. Don't apply too much color.
Well, I have tried almost all the long lasting lipcolors out there: Max Factor, Cover Girl, Almay, Revlon and MAC, but this brand is the winner out of all (so far!) What sold me on the product in the first place is that it has the conditioning lip ...
Pros: Long lasting, intense color, tons of shades from which to choose. Cons: Wears off oddly, may need to touch up here and there thruout the day.
I have tried tons of lipsticks looking for one that will last a long time found that most feel weird, are drying, or feather into the find lines around my mouth and I look worse than just having naked lips. I did finally find one that I like quite a bit ...
Pros: Longlasting, nice appearance, variety of diff. colors. Cons: Drying, can be pricey, have to reapply gloss.
I was a bit hesitant before buying this product because of the dual wand. (one end is a lipgloss and the other end is the lipcolor). But I found a color that looked nice and decided to give it a try. Maybelline Superstay Lipcolor can be found at a ...
Pros: Long-lasting. Can handle having another brand of gloss on top of it. Good base coat. Cons: If you apply too much of it, it gets really flaky later in the day.
I've tried many lipsticks like this--the kind that you paint on and then it supposedly stays on all day for you--and Maybelline Superstay Lipcolor is by far the best one out there. Your best bet is to apply it lightly. I primarily use Raisin, which ...
Pros: I could use the gloss part alone without it looking awful. Cons: Design of the dual end wand is counter intuitive... the watermelon scent is horrid.
Within seconds of applying the product, a sticky film of pink curdle spread across my lips. I followed the directions, making sure that I let the product dry before applying the gloss cover. The product is drying and causes puckering of the both the ...
Pros: Long lasting color. Wide variety of shades to choose from. Nice glossy look when applied. Cons: Have to re-apply gloss often. Higher price. Lips feel dry when gloss wears off.
Product Information:Maybelline Superstay Lipcolor #756 raisin (I would compare this shade to a crimson color.) This product comes in a sleek tube, grey on one end containing .063 oz. of conditioning balm. The other ...
Pros: Size, variety, and Overall Appereance. Cons: Permanent smudges.
For any wedding the perfect lip color can make it better. As the maid of honor for both my moms wedding and my sisters, I needed a lip color that I could put on and forget about. I found that in Mabelline Superstay Lipcolor. What Was ...
Pros: Cheap. Can be found at the drugstore. Pretty shades. Cons: Feathers after only a few hours. Leaves Lips with a strange striped appearance.
Let me start by saying I would rather reapply my lipstick 100 times a day than have a lipstick that feathers. That being said the first day I tried this lipstick I applied it and went to work. Everything seemed fine for a while until one of my coworkers ...
Pros: Not at all sticky, color truly lasts, available nearly everywhere in lots of colors. Cons: Doesn't last 16 hours, but I won't hold that against it. Wonderful product.
I have avoided the "long-lasting" type lipsticks and glosses for at least the past 8 years as I have never had a good experience with them. But as a lip product junkie, the many new "long-lasting" products on the market have been enticing me the past few ...
Pros: Long lasting. Cute colors to choose from. Cons: Color gets sticky on lips when it's drying. Stops after gloss goes on though.
I've been looking all over for a lipstick that lasts and looks good and finally I found one. I love the color and the durability! The reason I first picked it up was because I like that there's 2 parts to it (although some may not). This lasts all day, even through smoking cigarettes and drinking bottle after bottle of beverages. This honestly lasted through the night as I slept (I applied it around 6 p.m. and didn't wash my face before going to bed). I'm never switching again!
Pros: It DOES stay on for hours and goes on with ease. Cons: none comes to mind.
I love the way it goes on like a gloss when applied. Not a dry stick like some others. And the gloss stick for after is great too. I have tried many that when you apply the after gloss....the lipstick comes off. This is great and many colors to choose. It also has a nice sweet scent...not an alcohol or chemical smell.
Really like Maybelline Superstay Lipcolor by tinabru ,Mar 30 '06
Pros: stays on almost all day, colors are lovely Cons: none that I can think of
Not a super long review, but had to add one, since the other reviewer didn't like this product. I like the color (#730 pink), I love how it wears, It has an ok feel for a superstay lipcolor. I plan on purchasing other colors...they all look lovely. I love the fact that one side is the color and the other side is the balm.
I have tried several colorstay lipsticks and this one is great! I used to wear the Revlon colorstay but they quit making it. I purchased this one in a coffee color and it looks wonderful! I put it on yesterday and it stayed on through smoking, eating, licking lips, drinking several bottles of water. I love this stuff!!! It stays on through and through!!!
