Pros: Oodles of useful info. Accurate voice prompts. Worth it for the sensor. Cons: Sensor has to resense position, once-in-a-while. The various panes can get busy, obscuring info.

Pros: Voice directions, map centering, Streets & Trips reliability Cons: no recalculation of route when you miss a turn

Streets & Trips 2006 travel planner

Pros: Maps are fairly up to date compared with at least one other competitor. Cons: Seems to require more mouse and typing activity than I'd like.
I have used the now discontinued Rand McNally Trip Planner product for several years. To do the same things in Streets and Trips 2006 seems much more complex and less intuitive. I've found no provision for adding roads/ bridges, etc. that may not have been incorporated yet. Finding some points of interest is difficult. Overall a good product.
