Pros: No sharp edged lids, hands free operation Cons: Messy lid removal, won't open anything but "average" sized cans
As seen on TV...we've all wondered if those products really do what the advertisers say they can. Generally I tend to steer clear of them. There are two reasons I decided to try the Onetouch Can Opener. The First Reason I have ...
Pros: Does open cans, lids aren't sharp, takes no counter space, inexpensive now Cons: Noisy, slow, sometimes leaves lids in or on cans, works well only on standard cans
If it's As Seen on TV, it has to be good, right? Uh, not necessarily. I saw the infomercials for the Onetouch Automatic Can Opener and was tempted but never bought one. Then a daily deal site was offering one for $11.00 with shipping included and ...
Pros: Cuts clean edges, easy to use. Cons: Drains battery, does not cut small cans.
One day I was watching television and a commercial flashed a product that I originally thought was junk. It was the One Touch Can Opener. This product can be purchased in some stores, but not all. So, I ignored the commercial because I am not a ...
I bought this can opener at my husband's suggestion, surprised that he would believe it wasn't too good to be true. And I was further surprised when I used the can opener and found out how easy it was. The strong magnet helps align the can opener ...
Pros: No rough edges, start it and go work on some other cooking. Cons: Just enough power to work, with the AA batteries.
I have a manual and a electric can opener. I did not like the unsafe edges they used to produce. The dangers when the lids used to drop in. My grandmother told me about this new can opener she and my Great Aunt and Uncle purchased. They LOVED it, and ...
Pros: Worked great, easy to use Cons: It broke within two months
Like many other folks, I had seen the infomercials for this One Touch Automatic Can Opener. I ever saw it reviewed on NBC's The Today Show. I was impressed with it and wanted to try it, but I absolutely hate ordering things from the television. Luckily, ...
I like it but it doesn't release the lid by melodylubart ,Dec 20 '07
Pros: Nifty handy little item. Walks around the can. Does the trick. Cons: It does not release the lid. You have to fight with it.
Well this will be a mixed review. It does the trick if a person has arthritis and can't use a manual can opener. And it's perfect because it goes right in the drawer, then you take it out, stick it on top of the can, and you push a button and it literally walks around the can.
Worked great for a couple of weeks by pabuechler ,Jan 13 '08
Pros: Once the blade and turning gears are adjusted it should work fine. Cons: Maker needs better quality control.
Update 05-27-2008
After my first disappointing experience with this can opener I decided to take the blade apart. This was easy. I lubricated the turning gear and reassembled. Since then it has worked fine. It's my opinion that the blade was locked in too tightly at the factory.
Pros: Small, efficient, handy Cons: Unusual can size my cause it is stop before opening is completed
Love this can opener! I know others who have it and have given it as a gift and they all love it. I found that a small tomato paste can was too small for it to handle. It got stuck and I had to hit the button a few times to get it to release. Once, it fell off a can when it finished opening so I know to hold my hand near it in case that ever happens again. These are small issues and don't at all change my opinion of this product. I like that it is small and can be stored out of sight versus an appliance that is kept on the counter and plugged in. Try it...I think you'll like it!
