Pros: Effectively absorbs oil and dirt from pores while treating breakouts with Salicylic Acid. Cons: Initially expensive in price; contains a medicinal type fragrance.
Surely by now my regular readers would only assume that I have run out of fine Origins skin care products to review, right? Nope! Wrong answer! Never fear as I have plenty more to keep me going for some time to come :-) A facial mask designed...
Pros: Brightens skin, deep cleans and minimizes pores, reduces shine Cons: The price and/or the scent may be too much for some
I’m not fortunate enough to live near an Origins location (the nearest one is nearly an hour away), so I spend a lot of time on Origins.com and Gloss.com searching for Origins products. So when Origins introduced the Winter Skin Care gift sets, I had to...
Pros: Lightweight facial mask for problem skin that actually works! Cons: none
I'm the first person to admit that I have problem skin. I'm prone to pimples and blemishes, my skin scars easily, and I have combination oily/dry skin. And my pores are huge. I'm always on the lookout for products that promise to reduce the appearance of...
Pros: Works very well! Gives skin a glowing, healthy complexion.. Cons: Slightly expensive, not a pleasant scent, can damage or dry sensitive skin
A friend of mine once went to Chicago by air and ended up with an unplanned layover. She hadn't brought any sort of facial treatment with her, so another passenger handed her a tube of Out of Trouble (lest she should have to wake up with oily, nasty...
Pros: effective, deep cleans Cons: perhaps too strong for sensitive skin
Oxy, Clean & Clear, Noxema...there are hundreds of anti-acne products on the market which are available at the local drugstore for somewhere around $5.00. During my teen years, I tried many of these skin care products but never any dramatic...
Pros: Positive benefits after each application, ease of use, fresh, clean scent. Cons: Some may disagree with scent of camphor, expense may seem excessive for some.
On a recent mall outing my daughter and I decided to visit an "Origins" beauty outlet. We were not looking for any particular product. Now although my favorite place to visit is the cosmetic counter when visiting health and beauty stores or outlets, the...
Pros: A tube goes a long way and instant results yielded on my skin Cons: NONE!
I am a very lazy person. A seriously lazy person where skin care stuff is concerned. If it's not put beside my toothbrush to be done daily, there is a fair chance that I will never remember to do so. Being the lazy person that I am, I tend to go for ...
Pros: Skin feels clean, refreshed and healthier in just minutes Cons: None!
Origins Out of Trouble mask is a staple product in my medicine cabinet. I like to use it once a week or so on a regular basis, and more if my face is breaking out.
This is a perfect mask, not to heavy or sticky, dries fast, but doesn't dry...
If you have acne, you MUST try this. Hands down it is the best i have ever used and whenever I get even a little acne I use this and it clears up overnight.
I take a dab and put it on the acne, leave it for 10min and wipe off with a dry tissue.
Great product, price is irrelevant, i would pay 10 times the amount for what this product does for me.
Pros: Reduces redness and swelling.
Evens out skin tone.
Smells like eucalyptus. Cons: Relief from swelling and redness is only temporary.
I started using this product after I read the book by the Proactive ladies. I was too cheap to buy Proactive, but this was listed under the Other Products section. They said that this would help reduce the swelling and redness on my face, and help even out my skintone.
Basically what you do is wash your face, and then put the mask on all over your face and leave it on for 10 minutes. Then you either rinse it off, or you can also rub it off with a wet washcloth. You can also put it on blemishes on your back, shoulders, or chest.
This product didn't reduce the swelling as much as I had hoped, although my skin was much less red after I had used it.
