Cons: Poor quality and flawed design

I didn't object to assembling the two leg sets (only four screws), and it is an attractive appliance. But it failed to perform to any reasonable expectation.

First the thermostatic control ran close to 100 degrees above the setting, and over several hours the temperature continued to increase.

Second, once the unit reached a simmer (200f), the glass lid would no longer fit onto the base, as there is no allowance for normal expansion due to heat.

I returned the unit where purchased.
