Pros: This game was very true to life and enjoyable. Cons: Too short and game control gets a little confusing.
This game was VERY true to life which I am a sucker for. I loved Goldeneye with James Bond and the control in that game (control being first person). This game has very articulate missions and very worthy opponents. The missions are challenges and...

Pros: two player missions Cons: graphics
Ok everyone, all you strategic game lovers out there better go out and buy this one. This game has all you have want in a game, strategy, and action. The first player mode is quite fun, but most fun of all is the 2 player mode. The graphics aren't so...

Pros: great graphics and sound, very realistic, one of the few shooter games that requires real strategy Cons: controls, if you don't use strategy then forget about it, can be left lost and confused sometimes
Note: The most important parts of this review are in bold.
Tom Clancy's Rainbow 6 for Nintendo 64 is not your average enter-a-building-and-kill-everybody-inside first person shooter game. No way, it is definitely more complicated than...

Pros: fast Cons: expensive, bad quality, difficult
After playing the computer game, Rainbow 6, I was in a fluster to try to get Rainbow 6 for my N64 system. The graphics, easy to play, and how fun it was led me to believe that the 64 version was really good. Well, I thought wrong. I loved rainbow 6...

Pros: Co-op play. You can plan your missions. Very realistic. Cons: Too short with only 12 missions. No voice samples. Mission planner could have been better. No death match. No duck or roll moves.
OVERALL SCORE 8.3
Tested with the expansion pack.
Rainbow Six puts you in charge of an anti-terrorist command force. Players can choose between single player or two player corporative mode, then briefed on your mission objectives. You...

Pros: Very challenging. You have control of how the mission will succeed. Great graphics, good sound. More realistic than some games released. Cons: Difficult play control that takes some getting used to. Not as fast-paced as GoldenEye, but some good competition.
I'll admit, I won this game from a contest a few weeks back, and it was a very good prize indeed! Rainbow Six (R6) is more strategic, than a run-and-gun FPS. It's not a bad thing, it's actually pretty innovative. There aren't too many games on the N64...

Pros: Strategy, intelligence needed, good A.I. -- a thinking man's shooter Cons: Not great graphics
I've become disenchanted with N64 lately (see my reviews of Pokemon Snap and Super Smash Bros.). The only seriously cool game they had released, in my opinion, was Goldeneye. But now they come back with Rainbow Six, proving that they are not completely...

Pros: Very Real, Very Cool Cons: Very Easy, Very Short
Well, to sum up my experience with the Rainbow Six game, it lasted for about 3 hours. Now I have never played any other version of this game before, and was expecting to find the most interesting game ever. I heard alot of hype about Rainbow...

Pros: INTENSE, BLOOD PUMPIN GAME Cons: NONE
Gameplay-10/10
Very nice. Very, VERY, nice. This game is really great to play. This is not your average first person shooter. 1) You can get killed by 3-4 shots. 2) You don’t “pick up” ammo or health. 3) You’re are going against humans. Heh-heh....

Pros: Very realistic, fun Cons: not long enough
I had my doubts about Rainbow Six. However, every single one of those doubts vanished once I started to play.
This is as close as it gets to having a realistic shooting game. Sure, it is fun having endless shoot outs with enemies in...

Pros: very realistic and entertaining for the older boys(such as my husband) Cons: Too hard for the younger crowd
Rainbow Six is clearly a adreneline pumping game. The game, right out of the package, has very good graphics. The game is 3 dimensional and is very life like. To get the best results from this game you should invest in the rumble pak, controller pak,...

Pros: Fun gameplay and missions, awesome coopertive mode Cons: Poor graphics, no 4-player support
This game is a great transition from the pc. In this game you play a swat team who does certain objectives (mainly rescue hostages)in a variety of areas. The single player is quite fun but the real entertainment is the coopertive mode. Although its only...

Pros: Unbelievably realistic Cons: Not enough missions/objectives
Rainbow Six keeps with tradition, as it rolls over from PC to Nintendo 64. It is a game well worth the investment, but remember you need a memory card to save your game.
A funny story happened to me as I was trying to hunt...

Pros: Action like Golden Eye Cons: may be too much like 1st one
Most people enjoyed the original Golden Eye because of its awesome multiplayer action. This game is much simular to the first Bond game because of the very simular style. unlike other shootem up games like Quake, this game has a plot and theme that...

Pros: cool sound effects, cool idea. Cons: out too fast, inaccurate manual, poor graphics.
After playing a game like Rare's GoldenEye, what could possibly be a better game to follow up with? Well, I thought that Rainbow Six might be that game so I went out to purchase it (please rent before buying!) and was immediatley impressed, for about...
