I bought this trimmer at Walmart thinking with all of the neat attachments i'd get some good use out of it. My main use was for the beard trimmer and I have to say, as a beard trimmer, this thing is the biggest piece of junk ever. Don't waste you money on this if you plan on using that function. I didn't even bother messing with the other attachments. Instead i bought the Remington PrecisionPro 200 Beard & Mustache trimmer and it works beautifully!

Pros: It looks kind of cool.
Cons: Receiving this as a Christmas present made me beat up Santa Claus at the mall.

If you do not have a beard, mustache, or goatee, or better yet, if you are a woman, this is the perfect beard trimmer for you!

If, on the other hand, you actually DO have a beard or like me, a goatee, this is a completely worthless piece of crap. The actual trimmer attachment works OK, but if you want to trim AROUND your goatee, you're pretty much out of luck. The "micro shaver" attachment does absolutely nothing except make a buzzing sound.

If you have a small child who wants to play "grown-up" and pretend he's shaving, this would make an ideal toy, although you could probably find something cheaper at Toys R Us.

Pros: Great price. Excellent maneuverability in tight spots. Solid construction.
Cons: Nothing that I personally saw.

I purchased the Remington PG-250 before I read the reviews for this product and was a bit worried that I might have made the wrong choice. I was happily mistaken.

After the initial charging phase of 15 hours, the trimmer felt strong, although a bit noisy compared to my last trimmer. Because I was using this trimmer for the first time, I used every attachment and couldn't be happier with the results.

The foil shaver cut close and clean and was very easy to maneuver inside my goatee. I also trimmed back my sideburns and it shaved the left over stubble clean and close as well. The trimmers, both large and small were very effective and the trimmer combs were easy to attach and use. It was obvious that the trimmer combs were designed to where you keep your finger on the desired setting to avoid slipping. The nose/ear trimmer was fast and efficient in both areas.

Overall, I give this product the highest rating possible.

Used the attachment to trim my beard on the highest setting (5). In the middle of the first stroke, the attachment clicked down to the lowest setting (1) and took off a big chunk of my beard! This was the first.. and last time I used this. The product is already in the mail on it's way back to Remington for a refund. Avoid this product and it's cheap price! You truly get what you pay for with this!
