Pros: Big BASS. Small sealed enclosure (1.25 cuft). Heavy duty, durable Cons: If there needs to be cons: Needs a lot of watts over 1Kw.
I bought this sub because I wanted some big bass and not take up all of my trunk. It did well in a 1.5 cuft. sealed box and 900 watts rms from a Alpine 1507. It sounds better with more watts. Be sure to get at least 1200 watts rms for this sub though and you only need to break it in for a few hours. I'm going ported for efficiency and more bass. All in all it is the best subwoofer I have ever bought or owned. It's louder than my 2 Alpine type E's 12's. I would match this sub with a mono amp stable at 1 ohm. This is a power hungry sub.

I bought this sub expecting something good, but not this good. I put it in a 3.5 cu. ft. ported box. This beast POUNDS. This sub is putting out about 150 dbs (with 500 watts)! This is a sub that has amazing sound quality and awesome performance. I can only hear a hint of distortion, but that`s only because of the low wattage. There is a guy in town that has 6-15" Memphis Studios and I am almost as loud as him. All in all this sub is amazing. I would recommend this to anyone serious about car audio.
i hooked up this puppy on a 1400watt 4 ohm load bridged amp configuration and the bass can be felt two blocks down my street! this bohemoth sub has dual 2ohm voice coil and i wired it in series to provide a conservative output of 4 ohm. it will take a 1 ohm load if wired in parallel for a much higher output wattage provided your amp can handle a stable 1 ohm load with a peak power of 2000 watts!! i would highly recommend this sub to anyone wanting to collect disabililty for deafness.
