Bought the refrigerator in April 1998 with an extended warranty offered by the store. Has worked fine until now, July 2005. It suddenly stopped working and all of my food spoiled and had to be thrown away. Extended warranty will cover tube/compressor but it's a hassle to be without a fridge for over a week in the summer while waiting for the repairman.
