Some sheds are big old things, not very well designed for optimum storage. Others are cute little designs but not worth the space they occupy. The Rubbermaid Roughneck Vertical Double Deep Storage Shed is just right! Measuring 5'6"x6'x6'6", it doesn't ...
Pros: Very roomy. Clear directions. Cons: Some miscast pieces made assembly difficult
This is big. Very big. Before you buy it make sure you have enough room. Not just to place it, but enough room to assemble it. It is also pretty heavy. You will need two to three people to move this thing. I recommend installing it in place rather than...
Pros: BIG!! Plenty of room for the lawn tractor and everything else. Cons: Assembly is fairly time consuming, ground prep is critical (see below...)
The first time I saw one of these sheds on the HGTV channel, I had to have one.
I have lots and lots of lawn and garden tools and power equipment, including a Toror snowblower, Troy-Bilt wide deck mower, Gardenway leaf blower, pressure...
I bought this shed for 298.00 at Sams Club and it was a snap to put together. The cost per square foot was about the same as those wood buildings in my area. The directions were easy to follow and I put it together in about an hour and a half. It is very...
Pros: Can't think of any pros. It is very
dangerous. Cons: Flammable and dangerous. Not packaged to let consumer know how flammable it is
The shed leaked water as soon as I got it and had to be caulked. I had two expensive bicycles in there so they got wet when it rained. In the month of April of this year, I had a fire involving the shed. The cause if the fire was unknown. Hot, windy day...
Looked all over to get this baby. Everyone wanted over $800.
Finally found it on the web delivered for a total of $502.49.

Pros: No paint, no rot, no splinters, need I say more. Cons: Structure could be a little stiffer. It gets a little wobbly in high winds.
I found this item at Sam's Club for about $300. I got it put together in about 2.5 hours. I put it on a concrete driveway, so there was no site prep. There are slots to put wood shelves, and I drilled some holes in the interior walls to use peg-board accessories to hold various tools. I've had this shed in my driveway for three years, and I'm very happy with it.
A must have - excellent price! by angeltod ,Mar 05 '05
Pros: Cost, durability, space Cons: none!
We bought one of these for our outdoor equipment about 5 years ago. Since then we've bought another - one for the riding lawnmower/equipment the other for our bikes and additional storage. These are well-made, very sturdy and best of all - when you move, you simply take it back apart! It goes back together again just as easy!
We have noticed that their design has improved for ease of putting it together. We recommend that you install it on a LEVEL surface - this will eliminate any problems you have assembling it. This can be accomplished very easily by creating a box with 2X4's and filling to the rim with sand. We recessed the boards into the ground so they were about 1/4 inch above ground so we didn't have to use as much dirt.
All in all, we have found both sheds to be water-tight, very durable, and well worth the money several times over.
