Compaq Presario 5BW130 (180504-003) PC Desktop

Pros: Decent for basic computing needs, such as internet surfing, word processing, and recording CDs.

Had this computer since year 2000. It's a 5BW137 (same specification than the 5BW130)... I did upgraded the memory to 256 meg. and working with two hard drives in it. Upgraded the Cd burner to a 52X 32X 52X.

No problem ever on the hardware... Almost opened 24 hours a day. and internet too.

the problem with this computer is the softwares... after 2 month of use, I had to format the hard drive. And he was very slow. but since 2002, It working much faster than my other IBM celeron 800 MMX. It worked even better with windows XP that I instaled a year ago.

Now, in 2005, I have to check for another computer. Beginning to be old. I hope the next one with be like this one... because it can't be better!!!
