Pros: Excellent size, lock switch prevents battery drain, good sound, cheap. Expandable memory card. Cons: Very few bells and whistles. Slow file x-fer.

I've had this MP3 player...
by navajonki_dt3000 ,Mar 17 '02
I've had this MP3 player for about 6 months. It was the best thing that happened to me.
Until I got wind of the new generation of MD(Mini Disc) players. These players can put a whopping 320 mins of audio on a single MD. They have optical inputs, but some of them can connect to your USB port on the back of your computer, just like an MP3 player.
An MD costs about 2$, and you can put up to 320 mins onto it. A 64MB Smart Media Card costs about 30$ and you can put up to 1-1.5 hours of music onto it. Simple logic.
And going on trips with 2 hours of music just doesn't go.
If you don'need alot of time, then it's OK except for the lack of a decent display (the one it has is "digital clock" style) and the price tag. I've dropped it a few times, nothing happened.
Overall: if you need a small player with small length of music, this is for you. if you might be ging on a trip or want to listen to more music, get a MD player.
