I stayed at the Homewood Suites in San Antonio July 2002.I originally made my reservation for a one bedroom suite, but when I got there I ended up with a two bedroom suite, because all the one bedroom had been taken.The living area was a little outdated, but the bedrooms were superb. We were in San Antonio for my son's birthday and he got his own room which made it very special! Our suite had a kitchen area with a refrigerator, a stove, a microwave and even a dishwasher. I open the cupboard and it was full of dishes and silverware which was a plus. The continental breakfast was less than to be desired. This hotel is not exactly on the river walk. You can see a little patch of the river walk if your room is in the right spot.
