Pros: Cost well less than $100 on sale; Small size; large LCD screen Cons: Pictures are crappy. And really you want a camera that takes good pictures. This doesn't.
I purchased this camera on sale at Walmart over Christmas. I wanted a very cheap and small camera I could carry around in my purse, so I'd always have one on hand. And I wanted a cheap one so I wouldn't mind if it was dropped or lost or ...

DO NOT BUY
by mrge5 ,Aug 01 '08
Pros: It took good pictures while it worked Cons: broke after just 6 months
I looked at alot of camera to update the camera my daughter currently had for 4 years. I ended up buying this one. I quit working after just 6 months. The warranty is up and I wrote the company and they said it would cost $120.00 plus shipping and stuff to fix it. I paid $150.00 dollars for the camera to begin with. My daughter knows someone else with the same camera and the same thing happened to it. It just stopped for no reason.

Sanyo Buyer Beware!
by frugalmother ,Oct 17 '09
Pros: Small size is handy Cons: See above. Further, the icons are rubbing off after several months of sporadic use.
I purchased this camera in November 2008 as Christmas 2008 gift for my teenager. She was thrilled to have it and took good care of it, since the economic downturn has hit us very, very hard. By April 2009 the bottom of the camera fell off! She gerry-rigged it with masking tape and a piece of Lego, yet the battery kept falling out. I found out about the situation in October and phoned Sanyo (couldn't get anywhere on their Web site) regarding repair or replacement. Was told it was under one-year warranty, yet the booklet says 90 days. So be aware that the camera has only a 90-day parts & labor warranty. Here's what Sanyo so graciously offered via their 1-800 number, once I got through: Sanyo will fix IF I pay $25 OVER the purchase price for servicing their defective camera that's less than one year old.
