Pros: valve regulates the air flow so baby doesn't suck hard and get gassy
Cons: can't express directly into it
My husband and I tried this bottle after our 2 1/2 month old went on a bottle strike. She latched immediately and didn't fuss through the entire feed. I was sceptical about the screw on bottom but know understand the science behind it. The release valve allows in air so the baby doesn't create a vaccuum while sucking. Also, the nipple is a pliable silicone that is texturized that allows her to latch on securely and not slip off. She barely burps at all with this bottle. I will still use my old bottles to heat up the milk as I want to prolong the life of these bottles.
Wow, what a product.
