Pros: Courteous folks to deal with and "select comfort" for about 10% of the warranty period. Cons: Expensive, degrading design. Hills and valleys develop.
My wife and I (both traditionalists) decided to take a chance on a sleep number bed (dual chambers), based upon the compelling TV ads. After plunking down more than $2K our bed arrived and was courteously and professionally set up. No issues with ...

Pros: 30 day trial, better sleep, dual adjustability. Cons: pricy - but worth it.

Pros: Can't think of one ! Cons: Expensive, poor return policy
My wife and I bought this bed because we both suffer from back pain. We decided that we would buy the best bed possible, basically money was no object if it would help us. After looking at numerous conventional beds, we went to a Select Comfort ...

Pros: When the bed works, it's better than the worn-out mattress we used to have. Cons: The bed is expensive, overpriced and not a good value.
I bought a queen-sized sleep number 5000 about six months ago. While assembling it, my husband and I joked about buying a $2,000 air mattress but decided to give it a try anyway. Well, we would have been better off sleeping on our$90 Aero Bed. The ...

Pros: Very good customer service Cons: Gives you severe back and neck pain
I have owned the sleep number bed for two weeks. I am now sleeping in my guest room until my new spring mattress bed arrives. I paid $160 to have my Sleep Number delivered and installed. The first couple of nights were ok trying to find the "right sleep ...

Pros: Bed is comfortable, adjustable and chiropratically approved. Outstanding service. Cons: Not the cheapest, but well worth it.
I've been married 55 years. As a pilot I've slept on every continent on this world. I've always bought the best mattress price was no object yet they kept wearing out. In addition, there were some conditions and nights that I wanted a softer or firmer ...

Pros: - Easy set-up
- Sleep without pain
- Customer service is phenomenal Cons: Expensive, but quality is never cheap.
After exhaustive research and a number of recommendations, I bit the bullet and plunked down the cash for this bed. Best money I have ever spent. I have never been able to sleep well. I do not have the remarkable ability to sleep on cue or in ...

Pros: Fast delivery Cons: Cost, set up, returning it
We received our bed very fast. The set up took me a long time, mostly the foundation and legs. I was excited to sleep on it. I think I was expecting too much. I didn't sleep well on it at all. I changed the numbers every other night, between 40 and ...

Pros: You can control how hard or soft it is. Cons: Not good for a hot sleeper but with the mattress pad is awesome!
My husband has back pain and sleeps very hot. We looked for quite awhile before settling on the Select Comfort. We initially were going to buy the 4000 but the sales person asked if either of us got hot as we slept. My husband really does. So we were ...

Pros: No flipping. Individual comfort settings. Cons: COST. Mattress is flimsy. Also, very hot to sleep on, especially at lower settings.
My wife and I took delivery of this bed a little over a month ago. Call me a sucker, but I got sucked in by this whole air-mattress scam, too. Wed looked at the Tempur-pedic mattresses and I felt that they were very comfortable to lie on, but they ...

Pros: The sheets are super comfortable and soft. The mattress protector cover seems reliable. Cons: Too expensive. Does not work properly. Customer service is unreliable. Not easy to operate or understand.
We were interested in the Sleep Number beds because I am pregnant with our second child and am having a hard time with back problems. We were told that this bed would absolutely solve my back problems within a week. Well...I didn't really expect ...

Pros: Would float in a flood. Cons: Didn't hold air, electronics malfunctioned, not level, poor customer service, lack of integrity.
We bought the Sleep Number 5000 on the 2nd of November after hearing it touted by one of my favorite radio show personalities Garrison Keillor. We went into the store in a local mall and the service there was great, it all ended there. We got it set ...

Pros: Absolute person specific comfort! Cons: Expensive and you need their box spring part also.
It has been absolute comfort and peace since the first night I slept on it! I am a very light sleeper and tend to suffer from insomnia. Thus the mattress I sleep on plays a large part in what kind of sleep I get. I was starting to get sore hips from ...

Pros: Adjustable firmness, separate air chambers, doesn't make you hot like tempurpedic. Cons: Slightly higher price than traditional mattresses but equitable if you order from their outlet store.
We have had a Sleep Number bed for over a year and still love it! I recommend it to anyone who is shopping for a new bed. I fall asleep faster, toss and turn a LOT less, and I don't nearly the amount of numb limbs like I used to. And the fact that it ...

Pros: Independent side controls. No springs. Cons: Price.
Overall, we're very happy with the bed. We bought this bed because our old mattress was a hand-me-down from my parents and had seen WAY better days. My husband has back and hip problems, and was a restless sleeper, and I was a toss and turner, which was ...
