Pros: power, two fan speeds, two light options Cons: white changes colors, too close to oven
A little sharp thinking would probably have resulted in a different microwave in my home, but I've never been accused of being that sharp. No, instead I looked for "white" as my first pre-requisite, and then moved on to making sure the microwave...

Not the greatest in terms of quality
by jd11365 ,Nov 02 '03
Pros: Features, ease of use Cons: Quality
I purchased this because it was on sale and had the features I like on a microwave. I guess you get what you pay for with this microwave. In 4.5 years it has broken down twice. Additionally, the grill to the vent on the top broke off the first year during cleaning and needed to be glued on because it could not be repaired. The first time we paid to have it fixed. The next time cost too much for repairs and parts so we had to replace it completely. I would NOT recommend this microwave if you are looking for a quality long-lasting appliance.

This model microwave was heavy...
by bryan_dt3001 ,Apr 10 '02
This model microwave was heavy to install but easy also. After the warranty had expired, it took on a mind all its own. After a few weeks with the problem of it starting to run by itself, at anytime day or night,we realized that a fix for that was to slam the door shut after use.last week the power transformer inside it caught fire and filled my house with the wonderful smell of burning wires. A few emails to Sharp Electronics netted not one reply, therefore our tenure has expired forever. Maybe they shouldcall a recall on this model before someones house burns down. I am just thankful it was not mine. Thats my line. thanx for reading and I hope it helps buyers out
