Pros: bagless saves money, cleans bare floors and carpet well, little assembly required Cons: heavy, front grill keeps falling off, dirt disposal can be messy
Our office does not hire an outside cleaning agency. Instead, one of the office workers (Ill call her Clean Bee), comes in early before people arrive at work and whisks around the office emptying trash cans, cleaning the bathrooms ... and vacuuming ...
Pros: Great suction, easy to use and maintain Cons: Some of the plastic areas are weak
My husband and I received our Sharp Twin Energy EC-TU5007 upright bagless vacuum as a wedding gift in April of 2002. Since hardly ANYTHING lasts 5 years or more these days, I HAVE to give it a 5 star rating! I have not had to take it to be repaired ...
Pros: Great suction, hose attachment has very good suction, cleans bare floors very well. Cons: Loud, bottom plate falls off, heavy.
I purchased this after having 2 Fantom Furies bite the dust. I then purchased a Sharp bagless and used it for 3 years and it started loosing power (I vacuum everyday, I have a dog). I purchased this one and was surprised how much the other vac had been missing. It has "so" much power you have to be careful you don't suck throw rugs etc... in. It is a little heavy but really pulls the dirt out. I have had trouble with the bottom plate coming off also. They made it this way for easy access which I love, but, it does come off sometimes. I just has a little clip that holds it so, it is pretty easy to put back on. I would not say it is quiet but, then what vac is. Over all I am very happy with it.
