Sony Mavica MVC-FD100 Digital Camera

A superb camera for schools. We use the floppy disks with younger students (supply your own disk please!) and staff and older students use the more flexible and larger storage capacity of the memory stick. The batteries in the later model (we're on our third generation) are MUCH improved with excellent life expectancy; an important issue for recording sports days, awards evenings or just being in and out of the media centre. The zoom is excellent, picture quality can be a little dissapointing at times but it's robust, easy to use and we love the dual media feature. We'd buy another! PS Why don't they put the high speed flopy drives off these cameras into computers? They're brilliant!

this camera is very light weight and looks great. It is a fashionablt camera and is perfect for everyday usage. It is perfect to capture the special moments.

Picture quality not up to standards for price...great for using floppy disk. Rather expensive when you compare it to other cameras. Very easy to use and overall a good camera for a first time digital user.

The MVC FD-100 is a very good digital camera with excellent picture quality. I can take pictures in the mid day sun or in twilight and the pictures still turn out amazing. I love the ability to save the pictures on a disk and send them to family and friends.

Make sure you buy it for the floppy disk versatility. Can get higher MP and better quality for same price with different cameras.
