I bought this TV after researching various products in the same size category. I knew that I didnt want to spend thousands of dollars on my first flat screen but I also wanted the best buy for the money. After finding out that LG made the screen for this TV I figured I would try it. We have had the TV over a year now and the only complaint I have is that I had to buy a learning remote because no universal remote has Soyo commands built in.

My brother-in-law bought one just after I did and he had to have a name brand. For more money he bought a smaller tv and I have to say that despite the name the picture on my TV is as good if not better.

Cons: Poor picture quality and a useless warranty.

My husband and I researched different LCD HD televisions before buying two Soyo 32 in flat screens. Within 2 months we were having problems with the picture on one of the TVs. THe picture would jerk and jump for an hour after turning it on. This problem was EVERY time the TV was turned on. When we requested warranty service we were in for more bad news. Ship in original box across the country to California at our cost and add $5.00 for a handling charge in addition to credit card number in case the defective part was not covered under warranty. Needless to say we will never buy a SOYO product again or recommend it to anyone.
