Pleasant Surprise
by awrhodes ,Jun 07 '07
Pros: Very smooth and pleasant. Cons: A little pricey - but hey, this ain't no Bud.
While looking through our local ABC bottle shop here in Florida for a new beer to try, I saw a couple choices from the Weihenstephaner brewery - the world's oldest. I tried the lager first and was hooked. Today, they were fresh out of their lager but had a six-pack of 12oz. bottles of this Hefe Weissbier. Pure brilliance! A fine choice during your next well-stocked pub visit, or lucky find at your local bottle shop. I'm not a tasting guru, but I do know a good bottle of wine, and a good brew... This brewery, my friends, makes some great products! ~AR
