Pros: Smells great, less expensive than name brands
Cons: None
I have been using Suave shampoos for years because I like the way they work on my hair. I have tried name brand shampoos, spend three or four times the price, and was no happier with the product, so I always come back to Suave. A 15-ounce bottle of ...

Forget Perfume, I Smell Like Lavender!

by ihateu10666 , Sep 27 '04
Pros: Inexpensive, no build-up, simple
Cons: Becomes rough without conditioner
So many shampoos, so little time. Call me young and naive but I never got the point of owning an expensive shampoo. Maybe I'm stuck in the early nineties, when everyone used bar soap to wash hair. But either way, I have never paid vast cash for a ...

Strange smelling shampoo.
by leskataus ,Apr 30 '07
Pros: Low price.
Cons: Cheaper shampoo means more needs to be used for washing hair. Has strange odor.
I have found that in my personal experience, the cheaper the shampoo, the more I have to use every time I wash my hair. This brand is no exception. It doesn't lather up as well as the more expensive brands and I find that I go through a bottle more quickly. As a result, I think that I'm not really saving that much money by getting this cheaper brand. I recently tried Suave Herbal Care Lavender Shampoo and will say that I probably will not use it again. It looks pretty in the bottle and that's what originally attracted me to it. However, I wish that I had smelled it first before buying it. I just do not like the scent of this shampoo. I like most scented shampoos but not this one.
