Pros: Sorry, no pros, they are a huge waste of money Cons: Cons are all listed above.
I have had nothing but problems with this diaper and company. We have tried a variety of their diapers including their new blueberry one and each and every one has had a different problem. The sizing is horrible: it is supposed to be a slim fit but they ...
Pros: Easy to use, trim fit (like sposies), great value Cons: Initial cost (though they pay for themselves quickly)
We have been using Swaddlebees Aplix pockets since my son was 6 months old (he is now 16 months). They are so easy to use and fit very trim. The quality is great and customer service is good.
Disposable diapers gave my son awful rashes and these diapers haven't caused a single rash. The fleece lining allows the moisture to be absorbed by the internal soaker, thus keeping a dry feeling against the skin.
They are really easy to wash and dry. They have lasted well in the 10 months that we have been using them and I can seem them lasting for a long time.
These diapers are a great way to reduce waste, reduce monthly diaper cost and a healthier alternative for your childs skin.
Pros: Cute, trim fitting, hemp inserts are available Cons: Leaky
I have heard some great things about Swaddlebees, but never experienced them.
Initially, when my son was a newborn, they worked out great, but once he started to pee a little more (and not a LOT more just a bit more) they wicked out the legs like CRAZY. It did not matter whether we used the terry cloth or the hemp insert. I would say the hemp did better, but the difference was minimal and we still had leakage.
My husband and I practice EC with our son, meaning we try to get him to pee in the potty. Even doing that, one pee in the Swaddlebees was enough to come out the legs.
