by amaiyta , Dec 12 '03
Pros: fixes split ends but that's only temporary.
Cons: gross scent, and gross texture...
One day I was looking to repair my split ends, and was looking for the perfect conditioner. I looked through sprays, gels, conditioners, and mouses; when I found Bed Head Ego Boost Split End Mender Leave-In Conditioner . The claim sounded ...

Bedhead Ego Boost - sexy is as sexy does

by pranapana , Mar 12 '07
Pros: great hair gel replacement and leave in conditioner. Not heavy / oily on the hair
Cons: Texture and smell on the hands might take some getting used to
I have a lot of long mid back black chinese hair. For those who don't know what chinese hair is like - each strand is generally very thick. I also spend a lot of time in air conditioning so my hair can tend to dry out quickly. However, I still have ...

Makes Your Hair Feel Like HAIR Again!

by julesagogo , Dec 21 '03
Pros: Hides a multitude of damaged hair sins. Split ends disappear (temporarily), improves manageability and shine.
Cons: Sticky texture, can weigh down fine hair in humid weather or if not used sparingly.
I live for vacations, but my hair would rather avoid them. The damage caused by a week or so in the sun, pool and ocean causes my hair to look and feel like it belongs on the Scarecrow from the Wizard of Oz. When this happens, my first task after ...

Wow...

by sarah_lou , Jun 03 '07
Pros: Shine, Smell, Quality, Accuracy of description, Design
Cons: Price
I bought this off e-bay (I suppose that's cheating slightly) for much less than you'd pay in the shops, as I hadn't tried it before and didn't want to spend a lot of money on something I wasn't sure about. I have coloured hair, which is has split ends ...

Got fly aways? USE THIS!
by missmixie ,Feb 08 '04
Pros: Fly away control, Packaging, Smell
Cons: Doesn't really work for what it claims (mending split ends), Slightly sticky texture
This is one of my favorite products, although, I don't normally use it to 'mend' my split ends. The packaging is great as well, which I think is very important and Bed Head recognizes that. I've found that the Ego Boost works very well when you hair is dry and you're trying to tame down the fly aways. It's probably one of the best things for fly aways that won't make your hair greasy unless your hair is very fine and you use too much. I've tried using it on my ends and haven't noticed a difference in my split ends, thus why I use this product for fly aways. The texture of the product doesn't bother me too much, but it can be a little sticky and I always have to wash my hands after I use it. I really do like the smell of it, even though I can't really pin point what it smells like. A little fruity. Bottom line is = one of the best products out there for fly aways.
