Cons: Short term investment.

Bought a Targus power adapter for which I was told I could get additional tips in the future for other types of notebooks. When I bought a very common Dell Latitude notebook and wanted to purchase a fitting tip, I couldn't get one for this model. So now I might as well through the adapter away. Very disappointing.

Pros: Works great if you have old equipment and don't plan to buy any new equipment
Cons: Worthless when you buy new equipment

I bought this adapter to work with my Dell Inspiron 5000 because it seemed very versatile. It has worked very well with the 5000. Upon buying a Dell Inspiron 6000, I tried to purchase a replacement tip to work with my new notebook, but Targus has chosen not to produce one. Thus I must buy a whole new unit.

Pros: worked ok for couple of times..
Cons: Suddenly stopped working.

This product broke only two weeks after I bought it.. The Targus customer support is the worst! They accepted that it was their mistake but they don't give any refunds or replacements. Do not take a risk! Do not buy this product!!
