Pros: I don't know of any Cons: You will ache and it only gets worse.
This was one of the worst mistakes made as far as throwing money out the window. I have the worst back and neck problems...i wake up every morning feeling 20 years older than my age. I have to run for the medicine cabinet and get aspirin. These ...

Pros: Convincing advertising and warranty Cons: Terrible, gimmick.
What a gimmick! No wonder tempurpedic has to charge so much for their beds, they spend so much on advertising to make you think you will get the best sleep of your life. My husband and I bough this the celebrity mattress and foundation about a year ago ...

Pros: Restful sleep, cannot feel or hear partners movements
Cons: Expensive. Price fixing prevents discounts except on retired models. Heavy.
I lost years of sleep until we purchased the Rhapsody Tempurpedic. My husband weighs 250 and every time he moved in bed, I would wake up. The sleep deprivation resulted in body aches and severe moodiness. We were very sceptical about Tempurpedic, but ...

Pros: Doesn't need to be turned like a regular mattress. Cons: Expensive, unsympathetic to injuries, couldn't get a good night's sleep on it.
My husband suffers from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident 10 years ago, and we thought the Tempur-Pedic bed would be the answer to his discomfort at night. Wrong! First of all we ordered the 9 inch (firm) mattress. When we got onto it at ...

Pros: Supposed to be very good for people with back problems Cons: It was not for me!
Tempurpedic was my dream mattress for years ever since I saw the info-mercial on TV. So, I bought the Tempurpedic Classic Queen mattress when I upgraded my bed to Queen size and I purchased from Sleepy's. The first night I slept on it, I couldn't get ...

Pros: Initially comfortable. Cons: Made of toxic materials not suited to living spaces.
Overpriced. Read the warranty's fine print.
First some background: I'm allergic to petro-chemical products. Any new product made from petroleum based plastics, foam, etc. causes severe side effects such as runny nose, burning throat, asthma, headache. And unbeknown to the population at large, ...

Pros: Somewhat comfortable in the summer. Cons: VERY expensive, not comfortable, hard as a rock
I've been really disappointed with my king-size Tempurpedic mattress. I've had it for about 4 years now. It was soooo expensive! I got the frame that you can pay extra for to come with it, and it broke in half the first night. It ...

Pros: Moulds to your body; firm; restful sleep each and every night; great value for money. Cons: Had a slight odour when it arrived but diminished during the first two weeks.
My husband and I needed a new mattress. We fell in love with the Tempurpedic Solutions II mattress. We bought it on the spot. It was scheduled to arrive at our house in a week. The next day, I went online and read reviews on it ...

Pros: supportive, comfortable, great sleep Cons: None yet.
At first I was a little hesitant on purchasing my temp. but everyone I spoke to who had purchased one alwasy had something great to say. After going through 2 very expensive Sterns and Foster mattresses that both sank in the middle after a year, I ...

Pros: Can't feel other person moving as much as on regular mattresses Cons: Not good for "lightweight" people
My boyfriend bought a Tempur-pedic Celebrity (the one with the extra "pillowtop" portion above the memory foam) bed three years ago because he was having back stiffness and pain from his original mattress. He loved it, so I thought I would too when I ...

Pros: Relieved back pain first night; does not shake when you get in or out. Cons: None. A different convention that takes getting used to but you won't lose sleep.
I've had this bed for 3 days now, I've had severe lower back problems since 2002, which included 5 years of spinal injections and surgery. I couldn't sleep on my bed anymore, waking up 2-3 times a night not being able to get comfortable with my ...

Pros: Luxurious; comfortable; best of both worlds with visco-elastic foam AND t-flex support for buoyancy. Cons: Costly; mild odor when it first arrives
We did a lot of research prior to deciding to go with a Tempurpedic bed and I think that people are often unhappy when they've made a mattress decision in haste. The most important thing is to spend a good deal of time in a mattress store and to try out ...

Most Horrible Experience of my life
by krisy513 ,Nov 11 '03
Pros: Honestly there is no Pro Cons: Causes pain,VERY uncomfortble took 3 MONTHS for delivery Rude costumer service, Bulls*** warranty,
I use to work at Brookstone, and I even fell for the sales pitch. Since we got an employee discount I jumped at the opportunity. I've had it for 6 months now, and it is a nightmare. I am only 21, and have had no previous back pain, that is prior to this mattress. I wake up every night severel times with horrible back aches, and the morning is even worse. It hurts for hours in the morning, shooting pain from all of my newly developed pressure points. The gimic said that it relieved the pressure points along your back, but it made my body discover them. And i'm not the only one, I share the bed with my husband and he is experiencing the same horrible pain. Also this bed is extremly uncomfortable as a side sleeper. I've had to change my sleeping posistion to back only so the pain isn't as suffer in the morning. I advise anyone who is looking into this, to steer clear and go for the good old spring mattress.

Tempur-Pedic Mattress causes sleepless nights!
by gglo ,Sep 07 '03
Pros: Comfortable firmness. Cons: The temperature of the "Tempur"-Pedic mattress rises over time, resulting in discomfort.
We have tried everything to "cool down" our Tempur-Pedic mattress, but have decided to give up the fight. My wife and I wake up in the middle of the night nearly every night due to the increasing temperature of our mattress, which rises in temperature in response to our body heat. We have an air conditioned house, and we keep our bedroom very cool at night (much cooler since we have had this mattress, in an effort to "cool it down"). We find it comfortable, initially, but it just gets too hot in a matter of hours. We have had many sleep deprived nights - both of us, and have decided to sell (give away?) our Tempur-Pedic Mattress.
