Currently I have had this radar detector for 1 1/2 years. It has been more than helpful to me. GPS is what originally attracted me to the Uniden GPSRD. I have used it going on many trips along with my everyday driving.
Recently I took a 1500 mile trip. It was very convenient to have it show me how far my destination was away. I believe it has 1200 pre-programmed cities. Along with mileage it also shows speeds. This can be helpful if your speedometer does not work, although I just see it as a novelty.

It also serves as a fair radar detector. I do not always speed but when I do I am glad I have this. Sometimes it seems to work better than usual. I have seen it work for around 3-4 miles in the country. But other times it will be 1/4 of a mile at most.

I would recommend this to anyone.

This radar detector is really good. I would recommend it to anyone. I have had no problems with this radar and with the GPS system built into it makes it that must nicer. It tells you how fast you are going, where you are, how long it will take to get places, etc... I am impressed!
