I go through phases were every couple of months, I can't fall into a deep sleep for a week or so. I toss and turn all night and after working longer hours at my job and really feeling the effects of restless sleep, I finally decided that maybe it was time to take a sleeping aid. I was hesitant at first because I didn't want to become dependant on them, but after reading good reviews of Unisom softgels, I gave them a shot. I took the recommended dosage (1 softgel per night) about 10 or 15 minutes before I went to bed and unfortunately, I didn't get the best results. I didn't feel the need to toss and turn as much and I felt more relaxed which was helpful, but I did not get them REM sleep I was hoping for. I like the fact that you only have to take one softgel per night with this product and many other people seem to have gotten better results with Unisom, but beware that deep sleep is not guaranteed.
