Viking Appliances - No Customer Service

Pros: Great Products Cons: No Customer Service (no poor service, I mean "no" service !)
We bought a complete pro-Viking kitchen last year and are now just installing it (after a big remodel). Turns out the local retailer did not deliver a critical piece to install the range hood. Viking isn't able or willing to help, the local distributor tried a little, and the retailer where we bought it is doing nothing. We have been waiting for the piece for 7 months, and are now lead to believe the piece could possible arrive next month. Meanwhile, construction on the remodel is complete and we cannot pass final electrical inspection until someone does something miraculous to complete the order. In hindsight we would have been better off purchasing another brand. One that values customers. If you ever get stuck like this I highly recommend getting final pieces made by a local metal fabricator. Will cost you more, but at least you may be able to move-in and use your new appliances.

Poor service/warranty

Pros: Good cooking performance; oven heats up quickly. Cons: Poor customer service, unreliable ignition system.
We purchased a 6 burner Viking a little over a year ago and have had problems with the burners/igniters. Unfortunately, the customer service provided by Viking is very poor and we were disappointed in the overall quality/performance of the range.
