Pros: Nice and sharp image, bright, and style... and the price is not bad!!! Cons: still searching...
Well,
all I can say is that I did not pay too much (considering the 15% sales tax we have in Quebec, Canada) and I got a screen with nice features (high resolutions at high refresh rates), a nice bright and clear image and no complaints about...
Pros: Tech specs show it should be a great monitor. Cons: Poor quality. Won't last.
I purchased the monitor based on the specs that showed it to be one of the brightest and sharpest 19" monitors on the market. Also, past success with ViewSonic products led me this way.
I went through two monitors with no success. The first...

I really like the look and crispness by jy403 ,Mar 18 '04
Pros: Very crisp and clean image. Cons: The menu system could be better.
Frankly, I'm a little surprised at the other reviews I've read on this product. I bought this monitor for work in last 2003 and haven't been happier. We run the monitor for high end video work (a TV station using it for video editing..it's attached to an Avid running on a Mac) and it looks crisper and cleaner than the 2nd monitor on the system. I thought the price at the time was great. Since then, I've started shopping for monitors to replace my home one. This one came to mind immediately. That was until I read these other reviews and talk with one of my editors at the station. He said the college we attended had all sorts of problems with their Viewsonic monitors and that they seemed to die quickly. It's got me thinking, but I'm still strongly considering this monitor.
