I bought this product 2 years ago. It worked well once. I believe the major flaw is the fact that the engine is on the ground and subject to dust and debris intake, not uncommon when edging. I should have taken it back to the store a week after I bought it, but I was very busy at the time and regret it now. I have torn it down at least three times. Most recently the pull start broke while trying to get the Piece of **** to start. I just finished fixing that tonight, and was actually on the internet trying to find information on adjusting the carb when I ran across this site. I can't imagine that the one I purchased was the only bad one produced. So, unfortunately I can not recommend this to anyone.

I bought this Weedeater 22cc Gas Edger and was originally impressed with its performance. It did not last and has already self destructed in the beginning of its second season. When I brought it in to get it repaired, the repairman simply laughed and instructed me to consider it disposable as they will never last more than four years. Buyer be warned this weedeater is best at eating your cash!

Pros: None. Taking it back after using it for 3 hours.
Cons: All.

Piece of junk. Hard to start. Hard to keep running. Lighweight. Just not worth the effort or the money.
