Pros: Soft fabric cover that is machine washable. Cons: Poorly engineered in so many ways !
Oh how I regret buying this highchair! Let me start on why I bought it and what attracted me to it in the first place before we get onto why this was a huge mistake. We are huge fans of Zooper strollers. We have had several and their quality is ...
Pros: Looks good. Cons: Tray is too far away from child. Cover isn't machine washable.
We bought the Peas and Carrots because 1)We had the Zooper Boogie and liked it, 2)it looked good enough to keep in sight and 3)we liked the great features it offered. Great Features:it folded compactly, had wheels that can be removed, removable ...
Pros: Sturdy, Safe, Functional, Trendy, Easy to Clean, Love It! Cons: Sometimes wheels lock, not a flaw, it just happens, not the end of the world.
Do Not be discouraged from the low ratings, I was at first but decided to buy it anyway and... could not be happier. I started my son in the chair when he was four months old, though I could've used it sooner thanks to the reclining feature, I just ...
Pros: Great chair, practical yet not an eye sore! Cons: Tray needs to be a little closer.
My husband and I have taken our 6 month old son(now approx. 17.5 lbs and 30" long) to many stores looking for the perfect highchair. We saw reviews on this one and thought we had found one that would at least do the trick! We took our little one down ...
Pros: Looks great and that is all. Cons: Child unable to sit upright, tray too far away
We bought this chair because the blue design looked very boyish for our son. We have stopped using it because our son (now 11 months old) always slides down in the chair and can't get back up. It is not designed to keep a child upright - the padding and contour cause the child to slide down. The tray is too far away and he doesn't reach for food while in it and until recently couldn't see the food well. He does much better in our travel high chair ($14.00) than in this one.
Worst Highchair and Completely Unsafe by mommyanna ,Nov 24 '05
Pros: none Cons: very unsafe
This chair makes me so angry--I'm upset that it hasn't been recalled. Maybe when a child falls from it and dies they will recall the chair. There is no way to strap your child in and let them eat at the same time--they have made that impossible. The tray doesn't get close enough--our one year old can crawl out. And worst yet he can push the tray out with his feet. It never locks.
I fortunately returned this to the store and after fighting with the manager, even though it had been less than 10 days, was able to exchange for a Peg Perego which has been great.
This chair looks good, and that's it. Save yourself the aggro.
The cutest high chair but not for all babies by jenhackey ,Oct 21 '04
Pros: cute design choices
easy to use
simple assembly
moves easily Cons: a bit bulky
tray does not come close to baby
This is a high chair for those who are interested in design! It came in 4 pieces and was simple to assemble. I purchased the Peas & Carrots version which is a darling color scheme. The chair itself lowers and raises easily by pushing a button and pulling up or down, then it locks into place. I also really love the tray's insert and how you can easily store it behind the chair. The chair does fold up to take up less space , although it it still a bit bulky. Under the seat is a basket to hold kiddo dining things. It is a nice feature if you like to keep stuff all together in one easy to reach spot. I also love the multiple positions for the seat back. The chair also has lockable wheels .
Update: May 14, 2005 After using this chair for 7 months, my baby has grown into it. The tray did not come as close when my baby was little as I would have liked. Now at 10 months my baby is very comfortable in it. So I would not recommend this for little infants- much better for older babies.
