Pros: Price, Features, Looks (closed) Cons: Look, Sub control, assories overpriced and hard to
The CDX-M610 is OK. It sounds alright, looks good closed and the remote works about 8 feet after the battery is an hour old. The crossover lowpass/highpass works nice in addition to the crossovers on my amps. The sub control however is not an...
Pros: Stylish, Colorful, Bright display, great sound, flip display Cons: Easily broken, long music loading time, skips often, clock is not permanently displayed
The Sony CDX-M610 is a great looking and stylish stereo. The flip down display is a must have for anyone who wishes to show off their wonderful sound system. The internal Xplod amplifiers deliver a higher than normal sound quality without making...
Pros: Excellent security with the Active Black Panel. Cons: little expensive,
I purchased the Sony Xplod CDX-M610 about six months ago, when it first came out. I was extremely pleased with the power output since it produced 23 Watts RMS versus 19 in the previous model (CDX-M600). Also, the extra 2 Peak watts (52 versus 50...
Pros: Sleek, not very common, great sound, great remote, Cons: Expensive, do not think it is a great theft deterrent
When I first got this CD player, I was afraid of the fact that the flip down and up mechanism will wear out, and the Best Buy sales representative didn't let it slip my mind, because he was recommending their 3 year warranty on it. Having experienced...
Pros: Awesome player, sleek & clean face, clear output Cons: Major security flaw, rotating faceplate not a theft deterrent
Hands down this is one of the best players I have ever owned. I have owned this player for over 5 years and its sound quality is awesome. This player never skips (compared to o/players of the same price range) and the output is superb. The panel looks...

Pros: Gloss black display with 'dancing' lights etc

excellent sound quality Cons: none!!
I had 3 mates with this head unit and it is an awesome bit of kit. Sexy looks, sharp sound, crisp and clear at high volumes and lots of neon lights. Awesome!

Pros: Looks good, good sound quality, discreet Cons: the skipping, the continual rejecting of cd's with "error" message
Sony CDX - M610 looks absolutely fantastic. A real eye catcher. A lot of the functions are trying to use (especially if more than one user). For one year it was perfect. Had I known it was going to be bothersome after that perhaps i would have opted for something else. It has begun refusing to play certain cd's (citing "error" and ejecting them). The annoying thing is it is temperemental in doing this. One minute it accepts and plays a cd, switch off and back on and it refuses to recognise it. I guess the one light at the end of the tunnel is i suppose i could connect and CD changer.
Pros: Looks cool. Sounds good. Active black panel. CD controller. Blue & Red glow at night. Cons: bad tuning. annoying clock. breaks easy. price.
Sony's CDX-M610 In-Dash CD Player looks cool & I get alot of compliments and "oohs & ahhs". You can read all the cool features by reading the full specs on the Sony site. I'm here to tell you everything they don't mention. Sonys SSIR-EXA tuner they mention doesn't really work when compared to the stock stereo it replaced. I have trouble picking up some of the stations other tuners pick up. The first model I had that this replaced was the cdx-m600 which broke on me because the cd jammed in it sticking half way out and the door would not shut nor open. So from now on I try not to leave CD's in the player to avoid problems. I do get annoyed when I want to know the time and the clock never stays visable unless you put it in boring mode. I never had any problems with it skipping. I like the cool blue and red glow at night when in the open position. The Sony Unilink makes it easy to add a cd changer.
