2000 Fleetwood Discovery

Pros: Well-appointed with durable appliances and fixtures.
Cons: Some components have awkward access.

I bought my 37V new in July 2000 and began living in it fulltime inJuly 2004.  Like any big, complicated piece of machinery that is vibrated and bounced down the road, bugs pop up occasionally butthey have been no worse than any other ...

Pros: Great mileage & reliability. Luxury features at economy price. Better than new RVs.
Cons: Took a little time to work out squeaks & wind noise...okay now.

The 2000 Fleetwood Discovery has been great! Super mileage at about 12mpg, very reliable throughout. The door had a wind noise resolved with $14 of foam tape! Luxury features like beautiful lamps, Corian counters, central vacuum, big closets, deep ...

Pros: The Coach is very well supported, by Fleetwood and is a Good Coach.
Cons: The Freightliner Chassis is very unreliable and should be avoided.

The 2000 Freightliner Chassis has numerous problems they are:
1.Driveline vibration

2.Turbo Charger & Alternator failure

3.Grid Heaters were miss wired

4.Severe speedometer fluctuation from 65 mph to 85 mph...

Pros: Excellent gas mileage. Easy to drive and to take care of. No maintenance problems.
Cons: Don't have any.

This is our third rv and we couldn't be more pleased. It is extremely comfortable and we have had NO problems with anything on it or with the chassis.

Pros: Great coach for the price, outstanding mileage 12 mpg.
Cons: None

Strong body and high quality leather galore. Purchased the coach used but from a reputable dealer that insured that it was travel ready. The torque, power and fuel economy of the 300 hp Cummings is unbelievable.

It is important to purchase from a dealer, even with the markup you have some protection. We considered more expensive coaches but when compared with the Fleetwood amenities and comfortable homelike atmosphere it was love at first drive.

I think that this coach is a great model for families in the mid range luxury coach market.
