My new Wife and I are in the middle of a vehicle search, and we encountered a used 1989 Ford Bronco Eddie Bauer at a local dealer. I was initially skeptical about the truck as it had over 120,000 miles on the odometer, but after taking as extended test...

Pros: Comfort, handles well, roomy, snazzy looking, makes you feel safe. Cons: The back window has to be down to open tailgate.
I recently sold my tired old Taurus, and bought a 1989 Ford Bronco XLT from a friend. I have never owned a vehicle this big, or a 4X4, and I couldn't be happier. With the winters we have around here, it was time to get 4 wheel drive.

Pros: Super 4x4 handling Cons: Manual lock tires for shifting into 4x4
When I turned 17, I was given my family's 1989 Bronco II. I drove it for 2 years and had very little trouble with it (nothing major). My favorite part about it had to be its 4-wheel drive capabilities.
I recently replaced it with a '96...

Pros: versatility Cons: gas mileage
I've got an '89 and I love it. I think it's the best of all worlds tough, comfortable, looks, decent performance (although, to do over I'd get the 351 instead of the 302. a little less mpg but well worth the power increase.), inexpensive and easily...

I bought my '89 bronco ll xl in 1994 with a mileage reading of 191010 miles already on the clock, and those miles were hard ones on rough Jamaican roads. I used it as a personal/business unit in my job, a sauce manufacturer, delivering goods in a 120...

Pros: Price, options, 4X4, turning radius, MPG and a great stock radio. Cons: Motor is a little weak, valve cover gaskets leak, poor paint 5 speed transmission? The Bottom Line: If you want a great truck at a good price and don't care about impressing the guy next to you at the pump buy a Bronco
I bought my Bronco II from a church sale for $900. It was a fantastic deal even if it was covered in rust. The car had come south from Michigan and looked like the salt was never washed off. Lots of rust on the back fenders and some on the doors. I do...

Hi, I dont know how to put this any other way, but if you are a teen on a tight budget, and love SUV's as much as i do, the Bronco II (any year) is the way to go!
Sure it may sit pretty high, but it will feel like a car after you drive it for about...

Pros: Big, Safe, Nice Bin between the front seat, Cons: Bad Reliability, Bumpy Ride, Sucks Gas
The Ford Bronco is a very interesting vehicle. I think most people who have owned or do own one have a love-hate relationship it. Owners love the utility of it but hate the reliability.
I owned a 1989 Full Size Bronco XLT from 1992 to 97....

Pros: power, old school look, mean sound, capable of handling anything you throw at it Cons: Fuel of course, rear power window motor is known to blow out
I recently bought my 89 Bronco for an easy $3000. Since it's from AZ there is no rust at all! It's the Custom trim with the 302 V8, 4x4, 4spd manual, and blue with black top. This truck is a replacement for my 95 Chevy Tahoe that served a great 275,000 miles, and let me just say it blows the Tahoe out of the water! I take this truck everywhere and anywhere, paved or off road doesn't matter. As a hockey coach, I can fit at least 4 hockey bags with ease in the truck (back seat folded down). I could ramble forever about how great Ford made this truck. Bottom line, the full size bronco was one of the finest trucks made.
