Pros: More power for the money Cons: Price (but not too bad) The Bottom Line: Saleen takes the mustang and builds it the way it should've originally been built.
I've recently been doing a lot of shopping around for a sports car and frankly was disappointed with what I found. Until a friend mentioned a Saleen. For those of you who don't know or haven't heard about a Saleen please let me indulge you....

Pros: Strong V8, Excellent handling, Beautiful retro styling, Very good fit and finish. Cons: Gas mileage The Bottom Line: I would highly recommend this car. We have not had any mechanical problems and it is fast, fun and a blast to drive!
Captured by the styling.
I have to admit, we were captured by the appearance of the 2001 GT Convertible. As teenagers in the early 70's, the stying is obviously a through back to that era. We love looks!
Strong V8.

Pros: Brute strength hp Cons: No radio, a/c, or back seat
The new Mustang Cobra R is supposed to be the 'saving face' machine of the 21st century for Mustang fans. It is 'supposed' to help Mustang fans bench race with Camaro and Firebird fans. It is even supposed to compete against the Corvette and Viper....

Pros: Great performance right from the factory Cons: Some prices are a bit steep
My uncle recently bought a 2001 Mustang GT. I have rode in it several times since he has bought it, and I must say the performance is outstanding.
He paid about $22,000 for it and it came loaded. It has a 4.6L and a 5 speed transmission. The...

Pros: Get a lot for your money, fun to drive, attractive, great premium stereo Cons: Accelerator hang-up, less-than-average fit and finish, design not polished, seat comfort for long trips The Bottom Line: If you want some good transportation and some good fun rolled into one, get this car. It's not a race car but that doesn't mean it isn't fun!
Things I Like Although many people think I'm crazy here in the heart of the snow belt, I bought a 2001 V-6 Mustang as a commuter car -- and it turned out to be a good choice! After a year of ownership, some of the rough edges have smoothed out (like ...

Pros: head turner, fast enough, cheap Cons: roominess is an issue, thats why we are in the drivers seat The Bottom Line: i would definately recommend this car, the rear wheel drive gets some taking used to but than its smooth sailing from there
where do you people come up with this stuff??? everyone is rating the interior real low, roominess is rather not rated or 5 stars... dont write a review unless u have or had a mustang. heres the real scoop... the basic 3.8L v6 is not the fastest car ...

Pros: easy on gas, very reliable and no maintenance problems Cons: No problems except it is definitely not a car for crashes. The Bottom Line: This car is phenomenal if you are looking for comfort and low maintenance, just dont have an accident because it is not good for those.
I bought this car used, I had always wanted a bright yellow mustang, which was my dream car. I loved this car, it was roomy for the sports car, it was a convertable, it was cute and it gave great gas mileage. I was floored that this car did every single ...

Pros: NICE LOOKS Cons: BAD HANDLING, WEAK ENGINE The Bottom Line: IF YOUR LOOKING FOR SPEED, HANDLING, LOOKS, AND RELIABILITY. LOOK SOMEWHERE ELSE B/C THE MUSTANG JUST CAN'T CUT IT.
THE MUSTANG HAS BEEN AROUND FOR SEVERAL DECADES. IT IS PROBABLY ONE OF THE MOST POPULAR MUSCLE CARS PRODUCED. WHY? I HAVEN'T FIGURED IT OUT YET. THE MUSTANG ONLY HAS A WEAK 260 HP ENGINE AND CAN SOMETIMES GO 0 TO 60 IN 5.8 SECONDS AND ALMOST RUN THE...

Pros: Decent power Cons: Lags behind the GM cars
To some, the Mustang GT is considered a sports car. Unfortunately it falls short even by the loosest of definitions. This eopinion will highlight the comparison of each Mustang trim vs. each corresponding Camaro trim (mainly concentrating on...

Pros: Great style, perhaps the best American made sports car! Cons: none The Bottom Line: Great buy!
This is a definite sports car! I've had mine for over a year, and I love it! I am always getting compliments and stares from people of all ages. (I wash it every week to keep it shiny clean) If you get a white mustang, you need to make sure you will want...

Pros: Great body styling. Handling is great. Mach 4 audio system sounds good. Cons: v-6 engine lags between 35-50mph. Antenna located in bad place. Front end breaks easily The Bottom Line: I recommend the Mustang. It is a great sports car for the price. I do think that people would be much happier in the v-8 version.
The 2001 Mustang is a fun car to drive and look at. With its rear wheel drive it handles the corners quite nicely. Be careful on wet pavement though, as the tires fight to get traction.
The v-6 engine has some pep in it. This car really...

Pros: The dashboard layout is driver-friendly and there is more leg room than older mustangs. Cons: The car feels a bit heavy in the turns. The Bottom Line: All in all, the 2001 Ford Mustang is a great buy and handles well enough on the road for any driver. Plus, it isn't too bad to look at either.
The 2001 Ford Mustang is a great car overall. Despite a few minor setbacks (i.e. the heaviness and the way it handles sharp turns), the car is definitely a good buy. The price is really affordable with a fully-powered LX version going for about...

Pros: SPEED, handling, acceleration, sound system, reliability, absolute freedom! Cons: Interior fit and finish, high insurance premium, stock tires The Bottom Line: I honestly recommend this car to everyone. The Mustang provides a true driving experience with a hedonistic flair that's sure to please. A value priced true American legend.
My childhood dream, a Ford Mustang GT with a big beefy AMERICAN bred V-8. I had the highest expectations for this car, as a child and as an adult, and can honestly say they have all been pleasentlly met and mostly exceeded. This car is an absolute...

Pros: Looks, Decent Price, Easily Fixed Cons: Slow, Uninspiring, Dull, Lame Interior The Bottom Line: Go GT, go pre-owned, and go manual!
When I began looking for my first car, I went through my options. I figured I wanted something quick and sporty, or roomy. I decided that I would choose between a coupe/convertible sports car, or a larger, more practical SUV. As you would imagine, I...

Pros: sweet design, eye grabber Cons: slow acceleration The Bottom Line: For a sweet looking ride thats an eye grabber, definetly consider this car.
First of all, this was my first car, I got this car for my 17th birthday once I got my driver's licensce, so I cannot compare it to other cars in my past. However, as any silly teenager, the first thing that made me consider this car was because it was a...
