Pros: Luxurious interior, Good handling. Cons: 4-cylinder engine, Plain exterior, Expensive options. The Bottom Line: With Bland styling, almost below adequate power for a 3,000lb vehicle designed to haul around 5 adults, and V6-V8 fuel economy, I'd Pass on the 2002 Accord LX.
For many years, since 1977, the Honda Accord sedan has been sort of an 'upscale' Honda Civic. The Accord offered comfort, great gas mileage, reliability, and was very affordable. With that said, the Honda Accord attracted a huge fan base, so large...

Pros: Great resale value, V6 power, well built, great reliability record. Cons: Automatic tranny can be jerky at low speeds, headroom can be tight with sunroof. The Bottom Line: Honda quality and reliability while sportier than Camry are far more fun to drive. Does not compare in the slightest to "domestic" brands, I've driven them all.

Pros: this car rocks, super design, style, engine, interior, easy to control, powerful...! Cons: hmmm..... cant think of any
I bought my honda accord (2002) brand new from the dealer, and i have to say honda stands by its name when it comes to quality cars. I have nothing against american cars but in the long run Honda`s last and last and last.... (just like the energizer bunny commercial, it just keeps on going).
My wife drives this Accord now and for me its piece of mind that nothing will go wrong in this car, plus i think she likes looking cool in the sparkly silver car with the system blaring.
Love the interior, the buttons arent cluttered, they kept it nice and simple, the seats are great, excellent trunk space.... nice quiet engine...
i have 2 honda`s at this time this accord and a civic, and i love them both... i dont have words to describe this car... just drive it and you`ll know the difference.
if you`re looking for a car that will last you for a long time, then this is the car for you, HONDA ACCORD!!!

I look at every little detail about a car before i buy it.(comfort, reliable, the way it drives, etc.) From the day I bought my Accord I have yet to have the least bit of problems with it. Sure it has its pros and cons. But defentley more pros than cons with the 2002 Honda Accord!

Pros: Great ride, handles great, smooth quiet Cons: Weak Transmissions MPG Ok
Search the Internet for Honda Transmission Problems and you will be surprised. Mine is getting the third tranny. The first transmission leaked at 24K and they replaced it under warrantee. I then changed the fluid in the 2nd tranny at 60K with Honda fluid. I noticed some gray matter on the plug and moved on. Changed again Honda fluid at 75K and still some gray matter. Steel parts were shaving off of the bearings. Then with 85K on the transmission it leaked and the bearings failed. This car is driven at 75 mph all day and has 109K on the car. Never abused and taken care of. I even have a tranny cooler to keep the fluid cool and it still failed.
Honda has replaced the transmission free of charge and stood behind the car 100%. I'm impressed and will buy again just not a 99-02 Accord in Automatic

Pros: Maneuvering, Comfort, looks, reliability Cons: AC on gets the fog away faster than if you turn the heater on
I just bought a used 2002 Accord SE with 55,000 kms on it. The car's condition is great, engine purrs like a kitten, take off speed is not bad, most of all, for a person who doesn't like bigger cars and dont like small sedans either, the maneuvering level is bang on target. Turbulance level is acceptable in highway, specially overtaking an 18wheeler it doesnt give you that extra drag once u finish overtaking it. Comfort level is great. Visibility is not bad and I have to agree with one of the other reveiwers that amazingly turning the AC on gets the fog away faster than if you turn the heater on.
Simply put I dont want to change a single thing of this car.

This car is quality oriented. Motor is solid with good gas mileage (38 miles highway/Averaging 33 within city). Good pickup with this motor when needed. Transmission has a precision feel with little "play". Interior room is great in the front and good in the back. Ride quality is great with little road noise. Trunk space is good, however the opening is a little small. Easy to read/access dials and controls. Safety rating is high for this vehicle (Consumer Reports). Nothing negative about this car. Overall, a good value and a good ride.

Pros: Stylish, powerful, smooth, relatively quite and certainly not a run of the mill machine. Cons: No heated windscreen.
I purchased a 1999 Accord Coupe V6 3,000cc after loving it at first sight. Now after 125,000 miles on the clock have just purchased a 2002 model. In the time I had the first one I had no problems whatsoever, only pleasure. Now I know I can do at least 100,000 miles on my new one.

Pros: Reliable and safe. Cons: Gas mileage not as great as published.
This is a fantastic car. It has taken us from life as a newly married car to having a family of four. We have had this car for over 5 years now and yet to have a major problem. It has been extremely reliable and safe. Our only frustration is that we do not get as great gas mileage as we would like on long trips.

Pros: Great reliable, Easily Maintainable Car! Cons: The power on this bad boy is not fully to par.
I have personally owned this vehicle for about a year and a half now. It is amazing to me how I have not had one problem with it so far. Honda to begin with is a great motor company and has always been reliable. From the interior to the exterior, it will make anyone happy. Gas mileage is also very low for a sedan which has quite the leg room. Not to forget the amazing amount of trunk space on it! Overall an exceptional car that will make you smile every time you see it. A++

Pros: love the body and style Cons: The seats just really suck!!
I purchased a used 2002 Honda Accord Special Edition. I made the mistake of only driving it for a few minutes. Now, every time I go for a drive for more than an hour I start to get really fidgety and mad, mostly because I am paying a lot of money a month for a car that I hate to drive!!!!!! Every passenger I have has complained too about the passenger seat. I have had no complaints about the back seat, but it is seldomly used.

Pros: Comfortable, stylish, roomy, handling is great, great price Cons: None
I originally had a 2000 Honda Civic coupe and loved it. The one coupe that I have always really wanted was the new Accord Coupe. I just bought my new Accord Coupe recently and I'm very pleased with all the bells and whistles. This car is fast, stylish, and rides like a luxury car! The leather seats let you feel like your floating on a cushion of air. The ride is very smooth, quite, and handling is flawless. The 2002 Accord Coupe would make anyone happy.
The 2002 Accord Coupe is like no other in the market right now unless your thinking of a Porche or $50,000 or more price tag! I bought this car at $17,000 with only 34,000 miles. I love it and would highly recommend it!
