Pros: Sweet V8, Awesome Stereo, Drives Correct Wheels Cons: Price w/ Options, CD Changer Trays The Bottom Line: Part sport sedan, part luxury sedan, the GS430 never commits to one or the other. A very good all around car.
Lexus has often been criticized for building cars that are “too perfect.” Many have complained that Lexus cars isolate the driver from the road, and lack the sporting feel of other (usually European) sport sedans. In some ways this may be true, the...

Pros: Perfomance, quiet ride Cons: Dealership servicing very expensive The Bottom Line: Recommended if you demand performance and luxury in your car.
I had my certified, pre-owned Lexus for 6 months. Never thought I would own a luxury car, and the payments that go with it. I have to say it's worth it. High performance vehicle with plenty of reserve passing power. At 70mph, I can easily accelerate ...

Pros: Quality, elegance and superior comfort. Cons: Rear spoiler on a Luxury sedan and should have more chrome. The Bottom Line: Aside from my personal dislike of a rear spoiler and lack of chrome, the Lexus GS 430 is an excellent luxury automobile.

I first saw the Lexus GS a few years ago.
One of my coworker who was my parking neighbor had just
bought a new one. That same day we went to lunch together, in his new Lexus. I was really...

Pros: Very fast V8, unbelievable sound system, very precise navagations system, too many to list
Cons: none found The Bottom Line: If you can afford it, buy it. Match it up to the BMW 540 and you will get the GS 430.
When I arrived at the Lexus dealership I planned to buy a used GS400. Probably a 2000 model. They didn't have any 2000's in stock due to the high demand on this car. So, I decided to test a 2002 model. When the car pulled around the corner I was ...

Pros: Very stylish and sporty as well. Great family sports car. Cons: CD changer in glove box and no audio controls on steering wheel.
I purchased a used 2002 Lexus GS 300 in December of 2005. I can honestly say this car was in better condition, had a better ride, was quieter and had more power and punch than any other car of purchase - even brand new.
I am a very big guy and the fit is tight, but - that gives the car almost a "cockpit" feel for me, which I like. The seats are very comfortable even at 6'4" and 385 lbs.! :-) Normal sized folks slide in with much more room - we've comfortably taken trips with 5 adults in the car.
The sound system is fantastic but would be the one feature I have complaints about - I don't like the changer in the glove box, it should have been in-dash, and they should have audio controls on the steering wheel.
We got a fantastic deal on this car at just under $23,000 - a bargain in this class if you ask me. If you are looking for a nice sedan but want to keep the sport feel then I can highly recommend this vehicle!

Pros: So far it's been a great vehicle. Cons: Gas consumption higher than expected.
Interior width narrow but adequate.
Very impressed with handling at high and low speeds.
Really like the automatic shifting up & down buttons on the steering wheel........fantastic idea, although it took me a little while to get on to it.
Nice looking lines, looks compact but lots of room inside.
Doors close and open easily and allow easy entry and exit.
Everything within easy reach of the driver.
Settings are simple.
So far (20,000 miles) have had no problems (can't say that about the Mercedes 300, I traded in on this car!)
Engine and wind noise level very low, even at higher speeds.
Storage areas well thought out and easy to use.
