Pros: It works!!! Cons: packaging
If you have read my other reviews on hair products you will know I have long hair, prone to being frizzy in humid weather. I wear it straight during the cooler months and all natural during the months I'm in and out of the water all the time. It is ...

Pros: Reduced silver from gray, Ease of use, Body and manageability, Enriches natural color of hair Cons: None
I had been considering going to a salon for a color consultation until my daughter suggested the John Frieda Brilliant Brunette Color Glaze. I was using Natural Instincts to cover gray and had gotten tired of having to deal with it. So, when six weeks ...

fabulous product for the price
by engk916 ,Dec 03 '07
Pros: shiny hair, easy to use, subtle color enhancement Cons: package should incorporate a flip-top
I have black, straight Asian hair that is coarse and thick. With age, the ends of my long hair became dull and dry, so I decided to try this glaze. I love it! Its easy to use - just apply to freshly washed, towel dried hair - and really works. After just one use, my hair feels like it has a little silicone shine enhancer on it, and my ends look as glossy and shiny as my roots. Like another reviewer said, after leaving it in for the recommended 3 minutes, there isn't a lot of remaining color that washes out to stain towels or hands. However, the bottle does say to immediately wash surfaces that the undiluted glaze comes in contact with. Im a full-time working mom with 3 kids so I don't have time or money to go to a salon every time I need a little boost, so this product is perfect for what I want a little enhancement, not a drastic change.

Great for In Between Colorings
by ncleveng ,Dec 17 '07
Pros: Great for bringing your color back to life in between colorings. Cons: When used as directed, can make scalp oily.
I color my brown hair every couple months to get rid of the grays, but after about a month, the color starts to fade. I tried John Frieda's Brilliant Brunette Color Glaze and it certainly brought my color back to life. The package recommends that you use it for several days (I think 5) in a row to get the maximum benefits. Now...my scalp is extremely oily and and my hair is fairly dry and by the 2nd day in a row, the roots my my hair were so oily they appeared wet after drying and styling as usual. I still use it but only once a week and it works great especially when it is used with the shampoo and conditioner.
